| Quote Bombed Out="Bombed Out"I don't think a pat on the back, self congratulatory thread is of any use here in terms of pass sales or renewals, it all just seems a bit blasé and doesn't address any of the issues.
I would assume most of us on here are pass holders anyway.
My concern is that Rovers have sold more passes than us for the first time in SL and our sales whilst steady are still in decline.
I have numerous friends and a couple of family members that have decided not to renew for this season unfortunately based on the last couple of years but definitely last season killed off their passion for actively supporting the club.
The club needs to produce on the field more than ever to repair the damage of last season and for me I'm still badgering those I know to renew, now with have new found optimism.
I know Adam said we need to get back to crowds of 11,500 so I think we all need to actively do our bit to help.'"
If we only had a ground that held 10000 I think we would sell out. Some people don't need to buy a pass as there is always an available ticket.

| Quote Jake the Peg="Jake the Peg"I was more trying to gauge if people hadn't renewed and then changed their mind after the takeover announcement.
As for rovers, if they played in a 25k capacity stadium where you could just rock up and be guaranteed a seat they wouldn't have sold so many'"
Agree, the amount of empty seats mean a season pass isn't essential at the MKM and I've sat in every stand and there simply isn't a bad view to be had in the ground.
Whereas at Craven Park seats are limited, some seats down the side have pillars in the way or can't see the try line etc so fans will renew ASAP or risk not getting in at all or having to stand.
I would imagine we have the cash to do some tickets deals now, but I'd prefer we wait for the rugby to improve first. I've lost count of many times I've depressingly seen newcomers lured in with a cheap ticket deal and the team put on a disaster class!

| I renewed (even though I said I wasn’t at the end of the season & behore the Thirkill announcement) due to the amount of change that had been done and put in to place. For me it felt totally different to the previous years and luckily financially it wasn’t problem to renew. However I do know a few that haven’t due to financial reasons and some others who want to wait and see how next season goes.
I agree with what others have said about ourselves vs KR in that the fact they are limited on capacity means that naturally they will have a bigger uptake initially due to simple supply and demand first and foremost so you simply can not compare the two.

| The feeling amongst the believers the none believers annoyed and frustrated alike that I speak to has been generally buoyed by the announcement last week and I think that we really missed a trick not reinstating a temporary return to the discount scheme for say a week after the forum. They could have announced it that night and I think they would have gained some more sales myself.

| 6500 passes sold, likely still puts us behind last year buts it hard to say as we didn't have an early cheap price deadline last time. Club saying they have had an upturn in sales since last week though.

| My daughter has been nagging me for a pass, so I think I can stretch to £1 and get her one under the junior members offer.
She went to 3 games last season, one of them was Smith's last game in charge, the other 2 were the wins against Leeds and Wigan

| Direct debit rolls over for three of us living in Leeds, parking pass will be renewed and got to say I am pretty excited about the takeover and the years ahead.
Now the games are on a Saturday / Sunday it make the commute easier on the M62, the goole flyover is hopefully finished after two years of delays, can do the journey in an hour from Pudsey.
2016/2017 seems a long time ago but I am convinced the last 4 years debacle is over.
We have to improve our home win record at the stadium, less than 50% since 2005 is shocking.

| Got my oldest grandson a pass for a quid. Plenty of people doing the same but while I was there yesterday and today new members joining and others renewing. Think the season’s pass sales are going to surprise some and one certain poster is going to have egg on his chin AGAIN

I know that Hull have a lot of loyal fans and if you add the kids for £1 then there's no reason you cannot get a decent total of season ticket sales. Obviously giving away a season pass for £1 might secure future fans so I'm not knocking it but in terms of gate receipts it puts you miles behind Rovers.
Rovers are now very close to 10,000 season ticket sales, the new East Stand Seating area which adds 1,000 to capacity is 85% full with passholders. The problem for Rovers is that even the increased capacity is unlikely to satisfy demand. Frankly it's a problem the club didn't expect to have, the club have outgrown the stadium.
Rovers will be turning away supporters in 2025 which is good and bad in equal measure.
The young generation of East Hull have taken to Rovers and it's incredible to see the amount of young faces at Sewell Group Craven Park. It's a problem for Rovers local born group of entrepreneurs to tackle but with such a wealth of business talent who would put it beyond them?
In summary there is no doubt that Hull Fc will sell a lot of season passes but not as many as they need to. Rovers will sell more but not as many as they could do.
