Two weeks.
And Wilson gave the clubs all the ammunition they needed to rubbish his article when he mentioned the offer of the DoR role to Agar. AFAIK that never happened, so [itechnically[/i the article was wrong.
The Wakey board are going to have a harder time explaining some of their statements on Agar. Flat out denied that he'd be coming IIRC.

Perhaps he was just waiting for the right time to put it into practice?

| Great to see the back of him ! He had our club going backwards for four seasons and should never have been given the job.
Maybe he'll do a decent job at Wakey but I'm just so glad that we don't have to put up with his ineptitude anymore.
See ya Rich and thanks for nothing !

| He's a midtable coach at best.
Acceptable for Wakefield but certainly not for us.

Maybe thats why Pearson was so annoyed at the time as it was actually news to him, by the way when did Kear announce he was leaving Wakey? Still think Agar was tipped off about both the job at Wakey and the take over at Hull and possibly got sorted out with Wakey knowing he would be under enormous pressure without the old BOD at the club.
Best of luck to him.

The Cockney Airlie Bird: |
|
| The botton line is that the whole club has stagnated from top to bottom, over the few years, and required a of shake up, which hopefully Adam Pearson, James Rule and Bomber will bring to the club. Personally, I think Rich Agar has always given Hull 100% and has not always had the best of luck on his side with injuries over the last few years. However, this season's below par performances, from many of the players (as Lee Radford admitted earlier on in the season), have ultimately cost him his job.
In a nutshell, it's time for a change and for the club to reinvent themselves in order to move forward to progress and compete at the very highest echelons of the game - nothing else will do for Hull FC. I wish Rich Agar all the very best for the rest of the season and the future at Wakey, given that we are playing really well at the minute (if only some of those players took some responsibility earlier in the season where would we be now?).
A top bloke, who has undoubtedly attracted some top overseas and West Riding players to Hull FC during his tenure, so lets just get behind the team, Rich and the club as a whole and ruffle a few feathers tonight and in the play-offs to come.
Come on you Ull.

| It was never a dislike of the bloke, he was just not upto the job in the end and I think he had lots of pressure and interferrence from other quarters. If he had stayed into next season too many fans would have drifted away, because most are sick of the brand of rugby that we have had in recent years. I think overall he has had a better ride then some of our coaches I can think of, he has also had enough time, money and support to achieve something in recent seasons. His tenure will be looked back on and passed over very quickly which is a shame, but history is cruel.
Only winners are remembered
By bringing in some one else it gives us all a chance to move on and upwards, which we are all glad to take.
Good luck to him at Wakey and I hope he does well for them.
