How much has Widdop played this year at the Storm? One good performance against a French team who'd struggle to bust a grape in a fruit fight doesn't make you ready to mix it with the best at test level. Sad indictment of the lack of viable alternatives in SL. I'd have taken Myler instead of Robinson, at least he has the potential to make the grade, whereas Robinson will only ever be a good SL player. Briscoe and Hall on the wings for me, if Tom misses out it could only be to Cudjoe, really not convinced that Goulding is doing anything but making up the numbers.

The Aussies have lost a bit of fire power in the centres and I expect us to compete with nz again.

Bit worried at 7 but nz have problems there and the Aussies are missing thurston.

Well with Thurston missing they may struggle having to rely on the likes of Carney, Cronk or Prince. Not to mention probably another dozen or so half backs better than ours. I think they could replace the full 13 and still beat our team at a canter.
