Good job your not coaching the scholarship sides then, because they believe service area is important for development of potential players. Crooksey thinks it is important and hopes to make some games depending on their fixtures but wants to see the dvd's

Totally agree, some players will go right through the system and possibly end up playing SL(very few though), however also it is not only about size at 16s, the 4 year variance accounts for players learning the core skills at different rates, if you talk to Crooksey it is not about being good enough at all, they are only allowed so many, just because a kid is in now does not mean they will stay in, the service area games gives academies a chance to watch other kids who they are interested in and how they respond to big games. It really is simple

Yep...my point being if clubs took your stance 16 is too late to scout players we would not have had the pleasure of watching such a player of his calibre

I wouldnt want to do it and have turned down the chance to do a Service Area before.

How players perform in Yorkshire Leagues against other sides with their top players in will hold alot more weight as opposed to Service Area games due to the higher class of side they will be playing against.

I said Scholarship side, not service area you have to win a league to coach at scholarship level.

Which i have done, so i dont quite see what your getting at in all honesty.
