| Back to the original question, if that's the going rate for a top class coach then we need to be paying it. Otherwise we'll wither and die. Wonder what justine is on across the river?

| Quote FoD FC Army="FoD FC Army"Why is it bollox? I remember that incident and although it must have been awful for him, he was clearly NOT MOTM. I can't remember who it was now, but there was one player that really stood out as MOTM and everyone was astonished when they picked Kearney instead.'"
It was Shayne McMenemy.

| Quote PAUL M="PAUL M"That was tha game where he spent almost the whole time bent over as though he was either very unfit or hungover. He was probably neither but he looked like he could hardly run.
The MOTM award was a shambolic decision by whoever made it.'"
I know you said as much yourself, Paul, but to clarify he was not hungover. He was rushed back from a fairly serious pectoral injury.

| Must be a young aussie - Rovers picked up Justin fairly cheap.
Pretty sure Mick Potter wouldn't have been big bucks.
We are the club that started this with Brian Smith remember - the LAST FC coach to overachieve with the squad of players he had at his disposal.

| Quote Kosh="Kosh"It's bollox because whether you boo the player or the decision, it's still a public slight on the player and he's going to feel just as humiliated.
I remember the game and the decision, and the MOM should have gone elsewhere IMO. But that wasn't Kearney's fault and he didn't deserve the boos. Simple as.'"
I think that if Kearney is the kind of guy that thought he deserved that MOTM award, and also cannot comprehend that the fans that booed were booing the decision and not him, then it's probably best if he doesn't come back to Hull. We have had our fill of coaches who have no empathy with the fans.
The booing was wrong, but it was a spontaneous outburst by a shocked set of fans. If the people around Kearney at the time couldn't explain the situation to him then that's sad.
BTW - I very much doubt that this is something that weighs very heavily on his mind.

FOD vs Kosh, Gloucestershire vs Worcestershire in the battle of the odd accented Hull fans!
