After initially being sceptical, I've been impressed by what AP and Radford said yesterday .
I reckon AP has made this appointment himself after watching how Radford has operated over the last couple of years.
He must now feel he was badly advised at the beginning of his ownership.
Hopefully we will watch a side next season that is full of heart and endeavour.

No idea whether this will work out, but wish them all good luck. A more Hull-centric approach, in a market where top clubs are doing similar and quality on the open market is poor, seems the obvious option.

Why? I have little knowledge of him. I know by reputation that he's FC through and through and works hard. He's also been in and around a coaching set up for a long period where we've generally failed to bring players through or been able to take them on to the next level and where the players have been perceived to be soft and indisciplined. He's also come through the ranks with one or two of the senior players which I don't think is necessarily helpful and has no experience of life outside FC. His major qualifications seem to be he's here and he's from Hull.

Means absolutely nothing.

Maybe, depends on the quality and capability of the individual. Only time will tell

IIRC was'nt Radford in talks with the Dobbins when his last contract was running out & changed his mind when the assistant coach position was offered to him?

He has been very close to signing for the dobbins both as a player and a coach while at our club.

Of course it's a job but a tiny bit of loyality wouldn't go amiss either. Unfortunately, Radford does not have one iota of it for our club, he's a total mercenary and a very average one at that. Not only did he put two fingers up to our club as a young kid, he's threatened to go to his beloved dobbins at least twice, while he was a player and then again as a coach!

He has the audacity to call himself a Hull fan. Please, do me a favour...........

I hope Radford knocks the players out of their 'comfort zone', like Maguire did at Wigan.

He achieved this, by sending the players, to an Army Commando base for 3 days, which entailed, teamwork,mental attitude,looking out for your mate,in bleak conditions.

Gentle mentioned he would do this,but it was cancelled.
