I seem to remember certain Rovers fans taking the pi$$ that we had been ripped off and how it was good business sense to charge us more money. Where are they now?

I can understand why some of us Fc fans have not bought a ticket for the derby,,, There grounds a sh****le,,, too much for a sh**e view.

But every other derby we have played at rovers these past couple of seasons we have sold out



I have my ticket so i will be there, I have only missed 1 super league derby between us and i was gutted, you never know what to exspect in these games.

I know the East/West geographical divide isn't anything like what it used to be many years ago, but that still seems wrong/odd in a way to me.

Crown, the Mecca for the bitter and twisted poisonous R&W "faithful", is a short walk to the palace and yet an unbelievable number of your "fans" (the biggest fan base in the whole wide world) are more interested in donning the shirt and singing we all hate Hull while standing in crown !!

Probably because people had either forgotten how bad the view is or were standing there for the first time. No repeat customers = not a sell out.

No offence but anyone paying £20 to "watch" the game from that stand knowing full well what the view is like is a Mug IMO and just the sort of person Hudgell is relying on. No offence.

Joking apart a guy I work with said he knows people who choose to sit in Eagle (for example) in Hull shirt, cap etc and watch it on Sky when you're at home, saying they'd rather sit in a warm pub and spend the ticket money on beer.

Just so long as it's this season's shirt and cap and they're putting money in the coffers I don't think it matters. Those people from both clubs can spend their money how they like.

Personally, I like to go to the match although I have only been to NCP once and will not go again until the HKR management upgrade the away end and do something about their scornful treatment of the Hull fans specifically. Mr H seems hell-bent on creating a wedge between the boards, teams and supporters that, until he arrived, was never there so, until he goes, I reckon I'll be one less supporter enjoying the view at NCP. Before H there was a respect between both boards and much less vitriolic exchanges between the average fans of both sides.

I think my team (wigan) took more on a sunday night and live on SKY and we paid £20.
