Several fail and then ones like Paisley at liverpool or Noble at bradford exceed expectations. so lets see.

Quote: TommysDad "Bloody ell who's rattled your cage? Don't remember anyone saying you were one man side. Anyway, don't think contracts mean too much, money talks and players will be bought out at the right price. You never know, we might just be looking at one or two - Pearson signs who he wants!'"

No cage rattled. just you seem to know very little. Feel free to list all these players who have been sold by financially sound clubs (not the likes of the Bulls and wakey flogging players to pay the bills). Its a myth. But a comforting myth for some.

Just seen a few of the highlights on Sky Sports News.

Overlap led to the first try just before half time. Needed the team to slide better to deal with that, but it was a fantastic ball to George to score.
Martin and Seymour at fault for the second try. Seymour should have been marking the centre (Cudjoe) and Martin the winger (George) as the acting half was (or should have been) covered by our square marker (which was Tickle). Because they marked the wrong men, it led to an easily avoidable overlap.
The ball to Eden from Grix to break the line was forward, and he also appears to ground the ball on the sideline. Pretty poor decision for me, but had there been a closer video replay for all I know there may have been millimetres in it. Looked like it was on the whitewash to me, and regardless of this I think Lyne should have been in a better position to cover.
Fatigue led to the Cudjoe try, with a four on three overlap leaving Ellis marking two men (and missing both) to let Cudjoe stroll through. Again, no sliding defence. Lack of communication.
The Chan try from the Grix break was poor cover defending from Sharp and Crookes. Sharp should have made the initial tackle but got handed off. He would certainly have gotten him the second time, and Crookes should have marked the support player instead of going for the same man.

All in all, for all the good things we've done in defence recently, the second half today was not our best effort and if we are going to be playing with a lot of these youngsters for the next few weeks, they're going to have to get to grips with the structure pretty quickly. I fear a large score against Wigan if we don't as the like of Tomkins will exploit these defensive frailties to the max.

Well that's an interesting take on the game !!! Hull played well for 40 minutes and then handed the game to a very poor Huddersfield side who were lucky that Hull played so badly and gave them the game that they didn't have the pace skill and power to win themselves, hey just like last Monday !!!

It wasn't the game I was at but shows how one eyed 'some' of you lot are. You lost 20-64 over the two games deal with it and move forward !! But in between cracks about our support and digs about your team , we can only beat who you play !!!! Once again rubbish poorly supported Huddersfield got lucky !!! Wake up and smell the coffee mate or are Wigan, Leeds et all thinking the same !!!!

There was nothing the team could have done to stop Huddersfield, they were simply awesome.
Our defence was perfect and our guys did everything humanly possible, the Hudds players were just THAT good. Even our full strength team wouldn't have had a hope of living with them.
Nailed on for the cup I'd say!

Thats not how I read the post! It seemed a good analysis of the try's scored against his team, pointing out the things that need fixing. I didn't read any critiscism of us, being more bothered about Hull FC. All teams make defensive mistakes, the team that exploits those the most will win the game as we did yesterday. The difference was we scored more when on top than FC did when they were on top in the 2nd half.
As for the comment about make the most of it while Davy is around - you're dead right - but then that applies to a lot of clubs and their benefactors. In the mean time after so many years of sub standard rugby and not a sniff of success I'll enjoy it while I can.
By the way, I thought FC looked good 1st half and thought we were out with 35 mins gone.

I'm not sure if this a cry for attention or a genuine criticism of my post through claret and gold tinted glasses with a chip on your shoulder.

I've analysed the tries I saw and why they happened. All tries happen for a reason, I'm not sure how that "offends" you. I've highlighted some defensive frailties that Huddersfield took advantage of exceptionally well. A worse team wouldn't have been able to and may have taken wrong options.

What is your take on the tries just so we can compare?
