Who says he’s a squad player? We’ll be losing 2 centres and brought 2 in, maybe that will change but looks like for like replacements for now.

Also, if it’s true that the new coach wants players living locally then you either have a very small player pool to work with or have to make it worth while for domestic players to relocate. Might make a better culture at the club but puts us at a huge disadvantage with domestic players as most clubs allow players to travel, thats assuming there’s any truth in the location thing.

Good signing IMO. As stated, he brings experience, versatility and is a total professional on and off the pitch.

If we sign another quote centre as hoped then Chamberlain because back up and a squad player, and as far as adding depth he's probably better than any back up centre we've got at the moment.
So as long as we get the final quota signings and further recruitment right then I'm fine with this signing.

3 year deal for me is a bit over the top but again it just shows where we currently are as a club and what we need to do to secure contracts. We either pay more money or give more security. We're likely not a desirable destination right now and therefore in the strongest of bargaining positions.

Agree with this but I'm getting concerned about the quality of the final quota signings.
