Radders should not have retaliated, but it is very hard not to especially when adrenaline is flowing and it is a big game. However as a professional sportsman he should have the capacity to restrain himself in these types of situations and look to get back at Bailey legally throughout the rest of the game.
The fact he continued to incite Bailey after the incident will also have helped sway the referees mind.

Bailey for my money was out of order with the elbows to the head and should definately looked at by the RFL (which we will find out about soon enough) but he should also be up for a charge of attempted headbutting which is a far more serious offence.

I have read plenty on this and the people who are saying about hitting Bailey when he was defenceless mention nothing of Wellens cracking Mcgoldrick in the Saints/Cas game when he too was laid on the ground. I think the fact Radford brought blood makes people see things in a different light.

i rarely look on here nevermind comment but whilst i agree BIG TIME that the head butt attempt was blatant and also 1 metre from the ref the next bit is total tosh. if our mob came out attempting headbutts every 5 mins you'd be livid. think bailey a a 24 carat but thats nothin to do with rovers or the fact that your saying players should headbutt.
