Another one who engages in idle speculation without knowing a damned thing about the inner workings of the club. For all you know, he's received endless support from the coach and the owner but still hasn't performed as he ought to have done. I don't know if that is the case, but equally, it's impossible to say that it's not unless you're:
a) Brett Seymour
b) Peter Gentle
c) Adam Pearson
d) Derek Acorah. |

I wish seymour all the luck in recovering, but i also see this as a perfect time in paying his contract off an using the money elsewhere. either in the halves or possibly a good moa style prop

Seymours wage is already counted towards the cap. If we pay him off it doesn't mean his wage become available to spend again. |

The way I understand it, if a player is sacked, only their salary up until the point they were sacked counts on the cap. If a player is paid off (after the start of the season) their whole salary counts on the cap. I could be wrong, of course. |
