We have been exceptional in attack AT TIMES this season (2nd half last week for example), we simply need more consistency!!

Let's take this weeks opponents Salford for example;

Salford 4 v Wigan 18
Salford 10 v Warrington 27
Salford 42 v St Helens 34
Salford 16 v Warrington 68
Salford 30 v Huddersfield 18
Warrington 32 v Salford 2
Leeds 22 v Salford 10

Not alot of 60 pointers there!!! In fact it just shows that the poorer teams can be just as hard to beat sometimes, especially when they get themselves up for it!!

We beat them 82-6 in the league in 2004. IIRC it was only about 12-6 after 20 minutes and then we went on a tryfest. Four weeks later we beat Widnes 70-4.

I think we've scored some exceptional tries but on the whole our attack lacks consistency and like smoeone mentioned we don't really have the calibre of backs to be exceptional. We've scored some really good tries, much better than last year but there's still room for improvement. I'd just hoping we're leaving our best attacking performances untill it really matters.

We can't even be consistent during the same match. Compare the last 30 minutes of the Saints match with the preceding 30 minutes. You wouldn't think you were watching the same team.

Mind you, Saints fans could probably say the same.
