| Sounds like we have a few players coming back within the next few weeks to keep the pressure on the current 17 .

| Catalans probably have the best two wingers in SL, Mcinhtosh really needs to improve or we could be in trouble.
I certasinly wouldn't be putting Shaul on the wing, as he was awful there last season, if he does make a change I'd have Litten on the wing, who did well in his couple of games next season.
Don't see Smith dropping him though.
I'd bring in Brown, Sao and Savelio for Taylor, Lane and Houghton.
Sao
Dwyer
Evans
Griffin
Savelio
Fash
Satae
Brown
Lovodua
Cator

Good to know Litten will still be here next year, what with your crystal ball and Tarquin’s barometer

Freddie was on about himself, not you, ya plum.
I think we'll get beat for what it's worth.
If anybodys brave enough to be driving it, or any trips going, pm me, but looking doubtful.

| Sam T out, but 4 big players back for them, makes them a tougher opposite.

Think our right edge could do with some beefing up and we would get that with having Savelio in for Lane. Satae off the bench for impact would make sense. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Houghton start at Hooker, and have Dwyer come on to run at tired bodies.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| Can’t see us outmuscling their pack, and their massive wingers are certainly a worry. Expect Mcintosh to get absolutely peppered if he plays.

I'd agree to that squad though wouldn't be surprised to see Lane on the bench if Savelio starts or vice versa. If Savelio is 100% fit, ready and able to do 80mins then think bench may be Satae, Brown, Evans & Houghton. Agree also it'll likely be Houghton over Lovodua though I'd still prefer our 9 combo to be Dwyer/Lovodua.

Think we have to go with a fairly big bench to match them down the middle though think Kasiano is still a big miss for them. With May, McMeeken, Taukeiaho & Ma'u all coming back in they'll be a different side than we've seen in the first 2 rounds, though they'll hopefully be a little out of flow and lack some cohesion. Glad Tomkins is still out for them as he does make them tick and with Yaha out injured they've lost some of the size he brings in getting them out of backfield
Our edge with McIntosh & Scott is a worry defensively but hopefully will have continued to improve this in training.
Its always a tough trip and not confident, that said Catalan aren't hitting their straps yet and haven't looked that convincing themselves so I'm kind of 50/50 though think home advantage will edge it for them.
Hoping the weather will be decent enough to allow us to play an fairly expansive game to get the best out of Hoy & Clifford and work the Dragons hard to tire their big men out.

| I was impressed with Lovodua at hooker last Friday so i would start him there and bring Dwyer off the bench especially against such a big pack.
Hopefully not too much longer before Mitch is fit.

Hoy
Swift
Sutcliffe
Scott
McIntosh
McNamara
Clifford
Sao
Dwyer
Evans
Savelio
Griffin
Fash
Lovodua
Satae
Brown
Cator
Or alternatively Fash up front, Cator loose forward and Evans on the bench.
