agree ,you have highlighted two of our weaker players and its little wonder that edge is targeted.
Maybe Lane could miss out in favour of Lovodua leaving the bench space for Houghton.
Cant see McIntosh holding down the wing spot for much longer

I’d agree with that if Savelio had already played a game and/or Sao was in the 17 re dropping Lane. Also re McIntosh again I’d tend to agree if we had Mitch or Wynne fit. Though if Baron & Litten impress and progress well could see either them possibly pressuring McIntosh for a spot on the wing at some point.

Thankfully that doesn't happen very often either, unless you're Gaz on your big return to Leeds of course

Gotta say I was worried about Smiths subs on Sunday
Having both lovodua and Houghton on the bench together
Leaving dwyer on the bench until last 5 minutes along with Taylor and satae
Another 2 minutes we'd have lost Sunday
Hopefully a nice learning curve

| Lane ran a good line once about 3 years ago and he’s been picked on that for a while
FC had 45 missed tackles - we must pick our best defenders who can also play Tonyball

Agree some people still see him as a "youngster" even though he's 25
Hasn't kicked on just a run of the mill player not good enough
That's our problem none of our youngsters last 10 years have been good enough for a top level club academy
Fash got our player of the year but isn't close to a international call up
Wasn't that long ago we had likes of Horne yeaman Cooke King coming through who were international class

| A Super League first will occur tomorrow if Hull beat Leeds. Anyone with a memory like Leslie Welch?
Will be watching the match on TV tomorrow morning.

It'd be the first time we've won three away games in a row at Leeds in the Super League era.

Wow, doesn't time fly?
10 years ago already that.
We had done the Otley Run in the afternoon courtesy of a hired mini-bus and a nominated driver.
We weren't in a very good condition by the time we reached Headingley and the Skyrack come the evening (an understatement ).
Was gutted when Gaz never made it out for kick-off and think we went on to get well spanked.
3 months re-hab for Gaz but he was to come back to lead us to the Golden Fleece 3 years later, then repeat.
Happy days.

| Think Its fair to say even at this early stage this is an acid test game for us to see where we are as a team. Leeds last week looked poor against Warrington, granted Wire looked good but they dominated Leeds down the middle completely. I thought Leeds looked to haveno real direction or cohesion and missing Oledzki & Prior gone they look very vulnerable down the middle. Whilst I don't think Leeds will be as bad as they were last week I still think we should be able to dominate down the middle, as long as we play with the intensity and desire we did in the first half and sort the defence out in terms of stopping off loads and missed tackles.
If we aspire to be one of the competing clubs these are games need to start winning where as in the past we have slipped up and had a tonking ourselves.
