It's the strapline for the round, isn't it?

| Quote: Chris71 "I have a horrible feeling that we will still see Johnstone in the 17 and flog Houghton for 80mins yet again even with affectively 3 hookers in the 17. I'm not sure who is responsible for the the fact we criminally under use our forwards, is it the way that BH wants us to play, do our forwards simply avoid taking the carries or is that whoever is acting half choses to by pass the forwards? What ever it is it needs resolving and quickly.
I just hope we do not see any more comments from BH or the players about how they have prepared well all week blah blah blah as its just all talk and sadly they have yet to walk the walk.
My concern with BH as Coach is that he is just too nice a guy and not ruthless enough.'"
It's a Radford tactic, could understand when we had the likes of Talanoa, Fonua and Faraimo, but when you have Swift and Mcintosh. then you use the forwards more.

| Quote: Dave K. "Not much to chance in terms of players, hopefully Carlos will finally make it and Savelio is fit.
Mitch and Johnstone to be replaced by Carlos and Lane.
Start Reynolds at 6, Lovodua at 13, then switch to hooker to rest Houghton.
Also use Lane in the backrow to give rests to Savelio and Ma'u.
Get some work out of the prop forwards.'"
we hardy ever interchange our second row forwards.Another coaching failure.
Dont think Carlos will be fit for the Derby but if he is why would you leave out Mitch when Griffin is under performing yet gets a free pass.
He needs to be dropped to the bench as a kick up the bum.
he can then be used either in the backs or in the second row to utilise his speed and handling skills

I thought both centres we're poor on Saturday so either one could be dropped for me. I liked wynne in that position don't understand why he hasn't featured since Sheffield

Interested why you think Mitch was poor at right centre?
He was up against a class centre in Leutele and kept him quiet again as he did in the home match.
McIntosh should have stopped Leutele grounding the ball after a good defending tackle from Mitch
Like you i agree Wynne offers a bit more at centre than just taking the ball up and making a few metres but if anyone had to make way it should have been Griffin

How do you reckon Swift has been a bit crap?
It's hard for a winger to impress if our forwards aren't laying the platform or you're constantly carting the ball out of our 20.
Swift has been solid again for me there's been times when I thought Griffin could have released him but chose to run it instead.

I just thought he forced the pass a couple of times when keeping it would have been a better option and although the flick passes from Connor are difficult to read he dropped one against Wigan and again on Saturday just think his concentration wasn't on point. Agree with you tho defensively been very good

To be fair to Swift the way we seem set out to play by having the backs do an awful lot of the work I’m not surprised we havent seen the best from Swift. The amount of times he’s taking the ball in along with other backs is crazy and taking so much energy out of them it’s a pity we can’t get the forwards to take the ball in as many times.

If having no pace means having no place, then Jake needs to be worried.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "I agree. It's pretty much unthinkable that we could win.
For starters it's almost 3 years since they had the bragging rights, and reclaiming them is a big priority from what I hear. Particularly with a big crowd in.
They are in superb form, with descriptions including "perfection" - the HDM talking about their "stunning ascent". By contrast we have lost the last 2 with lacklustre efforts and in addition to missing Taylor, Tuimavave, Savelio, Cator and Shaul it looks like Satae is carrying a knock. God help us if we lose any more at the disciplinary lottery tomorrow.
Rovers have home advantage of course, and could be slating "timely boost" announcements on extensions for Parcell, Minchella and maybe Smith for this week. Wouldn't be surprised to see a TB on Mikey Lewis and his injury either.
Derbies are never to be savoured, except retrospectively after a win, but this one in particular fills me with dread. Need to keep an eye on the record we set in 2019 when Kelly ran riot in the second half as Rovers will be seeking to eclipse this I reckon.'"
I realise it's derby week and the banter starts but isn't this Hull KR's first home derby for three years due to the pandemic? IIRC didn't Hull FC have something like 1-17 in their CC match versus Giants and i do recall at least a couple of posters on here proclaiming Hull FC's first seventeen would be strong enough to challenge for a top four place. Your local paper the Hull daily Mail doesn't seem to think there will be any 'timely boosts' regards Tony Smith or the players in question and likewise Rovers medical team have all but written off Mickey Lewis's chance of competing this weekend. I agree derbies are never savoured, except by the winners, but with Hull FC's loss in the Challenge cup i do reckon the Hull players will have a very big incentive to 'turn the tide' on their neighbours because good news in the West of the city definitely needs a boost.
