Good under the high ball, can scoot and bring play out from our own half, got pace.
Worth a try and it will inject some pace out wide'"
Swift is a much better option

In terms of playing hooker yes.
What has him being injured got to do with it, are we not allowed to talk about injured players?

Then why are no other clubs in the world playing wongers at hooker if speed is what is needed.
Passing and defence are massive still in the hooker position.
I do think we could do with some zip though at hooker as our two hookers are very similar.

Unless its Ratchford, then I dont see the point in signing a inexperienced FB on loan when we have Wynne.

If true I’d have said it’s Matty Ashton , not a bad player and a step up on wynne.

From what I have seen, he looks a FB in the Shaul style.

Think our passing at the PTB is very poor.
Quite often it comes at head height, which allows the defence to close down an extra yard or two. I counted 2-3 poor passes from Johnstone during one set in the Wigan game. Houghton passing isn’t consistent either.
I didn’t play rugby to a very high level, but at school we were taught to pass at stomach height just in front of the player running onto the ball. The must be more errors too resulting from head high passes
It’s not just Hull, but passing in Rugby League is a skill that very few teams seem to work on. I’m not a Union fan, but caught a bit of Aus v NZ the other weekend. The passing speed and accuracy of the scrum halves was amazing in comparison.
Same ball and pick up from the ground before passing.
Surprised clubs don’t get their players to work on this basic skill more.

If so, hope it is McIntosh, maybe a year loan deal swap for Jones.

Glad I'm not imagining this. I've lost count recently how often Snead has to jump while receiving the pass from dummy half, resulting in a lost second or 2.
