I'd make Sneyd our marquee signing as he's our most important player IMO

We need to keep him. He's getting better and better IMO. Pay him what he wants. If we let him go, who's better out there? How much for a top class Aussie half back who could do the same or better job?

If you pay sneyd over the odds what do you then say to kelly, connor and taylor? We have to have a wage structure. I'd love sneyd to stay but not at a daft cost

Agree 100%, he isn't [ithat[/i good, we can't be held to ransom.
But this is a pointless discussion as we don't know what he wants or the club, until there is some news to talk about it is pure speculation.

Tonight's game is exactly why Sneyd isn't marquee contract material. Falling off tackles, ineffective attacking kicks, his passing is awful for a half back (firing it at the centre's from yards away!!)

created both tries scored,both he and an ineffectual Kelly suffered from playing behind a beaten pack.

Sneyd was brilliant for us at Cas and we all hoped we could keep him. However we signed Gale and Powell worked his magic again so do you think its Sneyd or the way he is being coached that is the problem? He seems to have gone backwards since moving to Hull.

Fifita aside I don't think our pack was overly beaten.
Our inability to defend and create was the issue for me.
Sneyd was woeful tonight. Failed to engage the defensive line, awful defence, a pass into Hadley's head from all of 2 yards and a needless sin binning following a poor kick into the in goal area.
We all know what Sneyd is capable of but unfortunately those performances are too infrequent.
Definitely not worth marquee money and the club should be not held to ransom by his demands.

Wasn't he on a season long loan with you guys?
He started like a house on fire but was dropped for poor performances towards the end of the season and didn't even make your team for the cup semi or final iirc.
So clearly not gone backwards due to being at Hull.
