If they beak the rules again they'll be punished again.
They don't get preferential treatment. Hull don't get treated differently than Wigan or Saints or Leeds with regards disciplinary offences.
Honestly, I cringe sometimes reading this board.

I believe the trouble started with the ridiculous extensions of Minichiello & Manu contracts, they are both way past it, on decent money & taking up quota spots.

It seems since Motu left our recruitment is dire.
Radford is the person Pearson is listening too !
As for the Academy, it was a mistake to have a joint one, with our nearest and dearest!'"
Why was it a mistake to have a joint academy? Do you see a benefit in us funding one on our own?
I would hope that some one with Pearson's experience in sports administration that he can build relationships and result in introductions through he former employees.
Pearson has owned Hull fC since 2011. That's long enough to understand how things work if you are from a sports background.
With all due respect, you have no idea that Radford is the ONLY person that Pearson listens to. I would hazard a guess that Ellis has a decent network of contacts across the game, especially in Australia.

I agree that the paranoia is cringeworthy at times.
But I reckon there is not a single Wigan fan that had the 2019 Salary cap points deduction on their mind when they were watching their captain lift the trophy at Old Trafford last October.
The Punishment is woefully light and in an era of apparent "Live" salary cap, why is this not detected until the following season.

Although I agree with the overall idea of your post, my reckoning is that you don't know what coin they are on.
If in the twilight of your career you have the choice of a reduction on pay or nothing at all, what would you do?

Because the player/players involved received (reduced) payments to keep within the cap, and their "agents" were payed separately, but that money should have gone directly to the players, and would have then exceeded the cap.
It took so long because wigan denied doing anything wrong, so it had to go to an independent tribunal, at which point they admitted the offence.

So deliberately erroneously subverting the cap and compuonding it by lying only gets a meagre fine and docked 2 points? Seems very lenient to me. That’s not paranoia.

It would be fair to assume as the previous poster alluded too that they will be on a decent wage, maybe not high, maybe not low but decent as they are overseas players and both former internationals.

Currently injured expected back in 4 months.

Im sure you are right about the possibilities for next season. However the present incumbents have not shown that they are able to attract top players. The previous team was built by Motu Tony. nothing remotely exciting has happened on the player front since he left.'"
You did, so I apologise.
I think everyone knows that we aren't going to sign 4/5 players for next season my first post was talking about next season.
Tony was so influential at getting the right players in, I'd still think he would point Hull in the direction of a NRL player or two

We signed an alleged good Championship prop in Bienek.
Last I saw, he was injured, then going out on loan for the season.

He's out on loan to get back to full fitness, it's not for the season, so get your facts right before winging yet again.

| caps mismanaged simple as, players like washbrook and Logan should of been released and players like mini and manu should not of been kept on.
While Kelly’s a great player on his day , he’s had pretty bad luck with injury’s and the big chunk of cap tied up in him isn’t being justified, and while houghtons been a great servant , if what I’ve heard is true he along with Kelly are the two highest earners we have possible marquee wages.
Question is do they still both justify it?
In my opinion no I think both their wages can be put to more effective use at the end of this season.

| In Danny Houghton case,I could be wrong but I always thought that once a home grown player played for the same club for 10 yrs, their salary became exempt from the cap ?
