And I was expecting an away day in darkest Wigan or Headingley, so pleased with the Fev draw, is there any chance of a switch venues to boost the Fev coffers, or will they fancy doing us “again” in the old tin pot.'"
just so long as it isn't a Sky game (if telivised), no way would Featherstone switch venues.

No chance of a switch.
The discrepancey is massive for a club like Fev though.
Can you imagine the difference in numbers we'll take on an untelevised Sunday afternoon game and a televised Thursday night game?
Some difference in wonga receipts.

| As a Fev fan yes it's a great draw for us, and for you too. Doubt we'll trouble you in terms of the scoreline as we are suspect defensively even against Championship opposition (and Doncaster last week), but we play some good rugby in attack on our day and can see a high-scoring game.
Think this is the first time we have played you in a competitive game since your promotion season in 1997 (though there was the Richard Whiting Testimonial friendly a few years ago). Really hope as many of your fans come as possible, even if it's an evening televised game - those who haven't visited for many years will notice a vast improvement at the ground, we honestly think it puts the likes of Castleford & Wakefield to shame (not that that's hard). As well as the new stands, the pitch has been lengthened significantly and it's not quite as much of a slope (though the slope is still there).
Don't be put off if it's announced that the crowd will be segregated, that will mean you get the two newest stands at the Railway (top) end of the ground, it helps create a cracking atmosphere too. I'd expect a crowd of 5,000+ depending on what day the game is played and in such an intimate stadium where the fans are so close to the action the ground is bouncing in those situations.

I live in Cas so it's a 'home' game for me and I honestly can't wait...praying for a Sunday afternoon game though as that will definitely boost the crowd significantly!

I think so too, a great opportunity to swell Fev's coffers!
