Agree Taylor NOT at his best but do agree still effective.
Many of the yards made after contact do attract defenders BUT usually mean a slow PTB. Think he needs to vary his play a bit more, was too dynamic early season. Just plod it up most times but then really steam onto it a couple of times each spell, scatter some defenders like we know he can. Is it me or has he reduced his passes short of the contact as well ?
Do agree he & Watts very different, between them they have the full skill set & combine really effectively when both at best.
Nice if they both peak next Saturday !! Sure that will be their intention.

At some point I'd like to see how Watts goes as Loose Forward, perhaps an option when Ellis retires?

Won't make any difference the way we play. 13 is just another prop

Thought Taylor did well on Friday. Seemed to play some big minutes as Bowden had a stinker of a first spell.

Green is getting up so speed after injury, we can excuse him for a game or two.

There's not much wrong with Taylor from what i can see - what may be the case is that he is playing with a bit of an injury - very common with players at this stage of the season - so might be holding a little back, but nothing to worry about.

On the subject of props, Watts has tweeted he picked up a sternum problem after friday night

That's partly my point. Watts has versatile hands and is big enough to play the modern 13.

Ellis will not last forever, Watts to 13 could be a natural progression?

Have a word with with yourself will you. Neither were poor. Bowden got clouted in the face in the first half and knocked on. Green makes ya ds after contact (like Taylor does ) . How were they poor?

I think it may be you that needs to "have a word", or can FC players do no wrong?

4 errors between them, green only 5 carries for a grand total of 25 metres gained, bowden 8 for 40 metre gain.only 36 tackles between them all game.

You have a word with yourself. Both were poor on the night

Both came off the bench, therefore number of carries and tackles is dependant on minutes played.

The problem some fans have is having a bipolar attitudes. It's either poor or outstanding. Is there really no middle ground? A fair assessment would be 6/10. Average / ordinary displays.
