No why would he lie? Last time you were the bookies favourites, this time strangely we are.

But it won't stop him from saying though it's what he does, but hey let's hope for good fair game.

| I don't get why people think what an opposing coach states with respect to who is favourite or how many players are out or referees etc is 'mind games'? You'd have to be a pretty feeble minded person to be in the slightest affected by that and simply not focus on what you need to do, what you're drilled to do.

Are you suggesting that no sports coach ever used the underdog tag in his or her favour.?

| SKY Sports are saying tonight that Gildart is in contention to play on Friday.
My guesswork Wigan team selection earlier may not be too far away.

I agree.
The truth is - Phil Wilkinson asks for an update on injuries every Tuesday and Wane answers the question honestly, then it goes to press. It's very rare that a player turns out unexpectedly. He usually tells the truth.
I fail to see how that is 'mind games'. Love him or loath him (I know many do) but Wane isn't interested in this sort of nonsense - he's pretty straightforward. He backs his team to do well against anyone. No need for 'mind games'.

I would have Hull as favourites, as I think the effort of the Cronulla game finally caught up with us on Sunday against the Giants, who played well despite their own injury problems. We lost Bateman after the Cronulla game for three months and he is our best player after O'Loughlin, who is also missing. It will be a struggle, but you should have too much for us.

I have not seen a Wigan team with as few senior players in a long time. Only 11 of the 19 can be considered anywhere near the usual starting line up.

Seven of the team who played v Cronulla are missing, then add Sam Tomkins, Manfredi and McIlorum, BUT this is a Wane coached Wigan team who will give it everything they have, and as a Wigan fan is all I ask. I expect Hull to win, but Wigan will give it a real go. I fancy your outside backs maybe too powerful.
