I suspect that might be more to do with him not being part of the club going forward than any falling out. I imagine he was invited since he was present at Wembley.
Pearson didn't want to go on stage at the end either but was persuaded. These things can be personal emotional decisions.

Yup - especially when you consider who and where Warrington are playing next - without Westwood and probably without Gidley (Sandow is reported to have hurt his knee as well)

| Not a chance any of the players from Saturday will be right physically for Friday. They won't have stopped drinking until last night.
Recovery today and probably Wednesday, then building up slowly to be back in from Sunday I reckon. I'd happily see all 17 rested.

| I wonder how many of us fans will be going? Got our tickets today. Whoever plays I'm pretty certain the party in the stands will continue regardless the score

| By my reckoning we only need to win 2 to get a home semi BUT one of the wins needs to be against Wigan next week, Wake should be a formality ?
So, down time this week then peak against wigan.

| I've heard that there may only be a handful of players rested, perhaps more players backing up than we all imagined.

If we are serious for the LLS and a GF place then I hope that's the case.

| leeds lost 3 in a row after wembley last season having played a strong line up the week after the final. We should learn from that and rest as many as we can. Far more important games to come than friday at saints

Indeed, rest as many as possible. The first team won't win anyway, there's no way they will be right physically or mentally. If the youngsters cause an upset then that's brilliant, but the important thing is that everyone is refreshed and ready to start again against Wigan. There's alot of guys that have had next to no rest, and it will catch up with us. At this stage even the lack of injuries is a disadvantage, because were we would normally have half a team that has had a month off mid season, these lot have been doing it week in week out.

| Wakefield game brought forward from Sunday to Thursday.
Probably a good move from our point of view.

Stronger squad than expected, reckon either Shaul or one of the wingers won't play to give Naughton a game, glad Pryce is playing, still think we will lose this one, too many tired bodies and key players missing.
Can't imagine Washy playing 80 at hooker, so wonder what will happen there.
