| Quote: kcfaithful "Michael's this season's scapegoat, correct me if I,m wrong when I,'ve seen Naughton play over the last couple of seasons he,s made errors of his own , positional ,carried into touch ,knock ons, so how can you be certain swooping them would improve the team or the performance, You don,t want hull to lose but could be for the best
I actually don't think Michaels has done that much wrong, people see tries getting scored down his wing and immediately jump on him. Personally I think most tries can be traced back to the men in the middle. If you are stretched out wide that means someone in the middle of the field hasn't done their job properly. After that it's kind of like a goalkeeper in a penalty shootout. If they save a try then it's a great play, but 9/10 a try is going to be scored. You're pretty much on a hiding to nothing.
However I said as soon as Fonua got injured that I would put Naughton in, and Michaels hasn't done anything to change my mind. I think Naughton offers a bit more of an attacking threat.
As for wanting us to lose. I'd love nothing more than us to go on a good run, and I will still be cheering us on (from afar) against Wakefield. But if it's a choice between sleepwalking our way to another 7/8th place finish, or a bit of short term pain to make AP realise he has to do something, then I know what I would choose.

| I think it will be a comfy paper offering the cracks win, our pack has at least matched the oppositions in the last 3 games, we have being beat because of better halfbacks and outside backs, Wakey have neither.
Really disappointing if we don't beat Rovers the state they are in, Warrington should be our first real test to see how much and if we have learnt from the last few weeks.
If we play like we did against Wigan, Cas and first 20 against Widnes we should win easy.

By definition you can't tell if something is papering over the cracks until after it happens. Often long after. For instance, if a win against Wakey is the first in a 10 match unbeaten spell it wouldn't be papering over any cracks.
Unless of course you've seen the future? If so, can I have the Lotto numbers please?

| Move Michaels inside to centre. He's been scapegoated but is still better than Talanoa at the moment in my opinion. Give Naughton a chance too.
People calling for Yeaman forget how bad he became in the last 2 years. Whiting will only come back in an injury crisis, I think.
Drop Watts for Green and give Abdull another shot.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

| Do we make a raft of changes or say to them, you got us in this mess, you sort it out......if a raft then it has to be aNaughton,Lancaster and Yeaman in......Micheals,Talanoa dropped,Carlos to 6 and Abdul to 13.id consider bringing Feka in as well.

| We'll win easily. wakey are the kind of team who will roll over in front of our big pack. When fonua is back he needs to be in the centres.

couple of wakey players up before the rfl
www.rugby-league.com/the_rfl/disciplinary
arona and walton look set to miss out
walton charged for lifting and dangerous throw (sure if he played for wigan it would've been just a caution)
