| Would like to see us win a minimum of 50% of our games (i.e. 15 wins from 30). That would probably leave us around 6th in the league. Would also hope to win two or three games post split to at least be in contention for a top four spot.
Based on last year's table, in order to finish fourth we will have to win an extra seven games. For a team who only won twelve league games in 2015, that's a sizable hike in form, one I suspect is too big to achieve in one leap.
I'm still not convinced that we have enough creativity behind the big pack to be serious contenders and, as such, I'm with most people on here in thinking that 6th is a realistic indicator of where we are right now.
What most of us on here want to see is evidence that we are moving in the right direction, both in terms of results and performance, with improvements in all areas. We're not going to know the answer to this until the season is well underway.
The one thing we can be sure of, is that no matter what the next 7 months may bring, this board will be as lively and argumentative as it always is, and I doubt we would want it any other way .

The extra 7 games you talk of was the total table including super8s
We know we had little to play for and purposefully went about blooding the kids
Prior to the split we'd only needed 3more wins to hit 4th. If you can be around there pre split then anything can happen from there!

| This squad is definitely capable of a top 6 finish. This would be a reasonable improvement on last season and anything less than that would be unacceptable in my opinion (and probably in the owner's opinion too).
The cup is a lottery where anything can happen so we shouldn't set any targets there.
What I would really like to see is us playing entertaining rugby, competing with (and ideally beating) the likes of Wigan and Leeds and not slipping up against the weaker teams, especially at home.

The majority of our fans have said they expect us to finish 6th. I imagine we'll be equally as narked as your handful of fans will be if you don't manage to finish 6th or above.

| Our home form simply has to improve. Five wins from fourteen last season was terrible. Just two wins from ten against the rest of the top eight.
Away from home we won six from fifteen (not including Magic weekend). That was as good as Cas and Warrington and much better than Catalans.

| Trying not to get too giddy given our drubbing of Rovers, given that every other team will have ten times that defence. Still think if we hit the ground running vs Salford we'll be up the top half of the table, I don't know why but I'd step over a hundred SL titles for another cup win so that's what I want us to go for and if we got to Wembley in 2013 there's no reason we can't with this (in my opinion) better squad.

| I expect us to do better than last year. 6th would be evidence of that but not looking so inept would work for me too. Once again we should have no trouble getting down the pitch but if we have truly turned a corner then we should be turning good field position into big points.
How much better we do depends on a lot of ifs. E.g. if Sneyd plays with England form again. If key players stay fit. If Logan and Abdul grow into their shirts. And so on. If things come together we could mount a serious challenge to the big teams.
There is real hope but I won't be betting my house deposit on us just yet.

| My dad always used to say that it's your pack that gets you to Wembley, and your backs that win it.
