| Quote: knockersbumpMKII "Except we have a dead beat coach and an owner that made empty promises and made huge mistakes time and again...oh and the rugby hasn't been that enjoyable the last couple of years..it's facking depressing as a supporter to be quite honest.
Then you have the fans that keep stating AP is the snizz, Radford will pull through and beleive every lie and bull made up by them both and released through the club.
Next year could almost be classed as a last chance saloon, either we are going under (according to AP) if the fans don't turn up and/or if we fail miserably again then 2017 will see us right in the shat!
We NEED to perform and perform well next season, really well as in getting to the play-offs. Given how things have panned out recently it's hard to envisage that happening despite having the best squad we've had for some time.
And yes, following Hull FC IS serious!'"
That old chestnut. You'll struggle to find a single post from the past 6 months from anyone saying anything like this.
Agree with most of the rest. 2016 is a massive year and the squad that's been assembled is more than capable of getting to the playoffs. I put in a thread a few weeks ago that next year we have to be going into round 30 with at the very least a chance of making the top4, anything less I feel would be failure.

Oh dear. Business with credit rating plummeting over the last year to "significant risk" could be in trouble if it's primary income stream is reduced. Utterly outrageous Still, it could be worse.....

| No need for the personal insults on either side methinks .
We do all support the same club. A civil war won't help anyone.
Anyway, as Regards dropping attendances I also think people are fed up with the game generally.
The new format has been a damp squib (every minute most certainly hasn't mattered), the refereeing standards are pretty poor, the judiciary is biased against the smaller clubs and the standard of rugby seems to be declining.
Add in the general dissatisfaction with our own club and it equals ambivalence and disinterest.
The only way to turn all this around is by getting the product right on the pitch. The rest will follow.

I can only speak for myself but to feel bullied I think you'd have to feel intimidated. What by, fairytales about 40 year credit ratings and references to Rovers buses? Jesus wept
Look, I think there are two polarised viewpoints here. Group 1 believe, based on sustained losses, credit rating deteriorating markedly to significant risk over the last 12 months (incidentally materially worse than other top 8 clubs that don't control their own ground) and reducing attendances that passholders failing to renew will present a significant threat to the club's ability to hold its own. Group 2 think comments to this effect by Group 1 (and I include our owner in Group 1 ) are fabricated baseless threats and that the club can sustain itself even with major reductions in its active fanbase. Surely both groups agree that there's some correlation between resources available to a club, whether through a benefactor, ground ownership and/or large fanbase? In my opinion therefore the more people that renew, the better our chances of success. It's as simple as that. Of the three factors mentioned that seem important drivers of success, we don't have the first two. Our competitive advantage in the third is diminished. Why wouldn't we advocate trying to leverage it?

Indeed, this time last year Rovers had their credit facilities removed, they could only pay cash on delivery, no credit at all.
a year later they have been to Wembley, won thier last 7 games of the season and have a great pair of half backs.
How much is our income reduced then?

They're trousering loads of income from the council-bankrolled North Stand and boxing events courtesy of a peppercorn rent. Do keep up. Beating Sheffield and Halifax. BOOM!
I don't know how much our income is reduced. I'm dealing in facts, like our credit rating being knackered.

Boxing cleared them £500k
No wonder Turner was laughing his head off.
So this credit rating, whats actually happened to us because of it?
Did they decline my card last week when i shipped them my pass money?
Will they not get any new shirts in stock for christmas?

I know, I read it. Funding all their squad upgrades pre 2016. Why would your card be declined? You're putting money in, that will help. Good lad.
It's a financial healthcheck, independently scored on lots of factors including stuff like trading performance and paying suppliers. 0 out of 100 = administration, for reference. I hope we get shirts in, although will be fuming if I have to pay for mine with all the free PR and advocacy I'm doing.
