You're comparing apples with oranges. If Ellis was/is fit, he plays no question, so it shows your hand. Salford have just made a big song and dance about all their injuries, if the players started to contradict that it would make them look foolish in the extreme.

Naughton, a relative fringe player, has been left out of the squad and people have asked if he injured (partly because according to some it was said on radio that he was). He's confirmed that he is not. That's all. Just 'I'm not injured' and a thumbs up.
