I dont think changing the coach will make any difference to be honest , I dont think we have the players to do much better even if we had the best three coaches in the world.We have some decent players but some very mediocre ones as well and before you come back with its Radfords squad its not all his.But the biggest factor like i have said before and say it again the expectations on the side to perform is to great,we play with fear we have for a number of years.Defeat on Friday and Radford will be gone that I have no doubt the fans will demand it.Whatever I will continue to back the Club how long Club will survive is another matter

I honestly think it will, it isn't just the players but team selection, use of subs and tactics are poor.

We don't back up, offload or seem to have any moves, a decent coach would improve that straight away.

If we brought in Sheens now, we would finish in the top 8 IMO, he would also be capable of bringing in a higher quality caliber of players from the NRL.

You just have to look at history to see the impact of a new coach, Cas and wakey are good recent examples.

So based on your logic.
If only the fans of all the other SL teams expected them to perform at a consistent level be competitive and moderatively successful then they could all be as cack as us and then we might stand a chance.

You miss the point yes every other Sl fans have expectations but IMO the pressure at FC is greater,the pressure on every FC coach the last 8/9 yrs has been growing even more .Whether you agree or not will not change my opinion .I have watched Fc for over 50 yrs and even in the dark days the pressure was not as it is now with social media and if you think players dont read the negative comments and does not effect them then your not in the real world.Yes the players ,coach ect deserve flack when they dont perform but for me its to much

Do you really think the pressure on the FC coach is greater than Wigans or even Saints. Social media doesn't have the clout I think your giving it, most message boards, FB and twitter are the same people trotting out the same stuff time and time again, although not ignored it certainly wont be taken that seriously.

As a lot have said, and as much as I'd like to say you lot aren't loyal etc, you generally are, you still turn up, buy stuff but just moan a lot about it. I'd be surpirsed if your fan based income isn't among the highest in the league so this in itself will deflect pressure.

The fact that any real sustained success is a distant memory must also be a pressure reliever, if a coach comes in and fails will it be such a blot on his copybook? I personally think its a job a lot of coaches would want as if you fail its expected, win and you'll be worshiped.

We have used 25 players so far this season. 8 were signed by Radford/Tony, a further 11 have signed new deals under Radford. That leaves:

Cunningham - retained whilst we let Heremaia go, not really a sign of not being wanted.
Houghton - As above, plus still plays 80 sometimes rather than use another hooker.
Paea - probably our best prop IMO, and has kept Radford/Tony signings out of the team.
Yeaman - the only centre to have played every game, has kept new signings out of the team and we've paid off others in his position.
Green - another who has played ahead of players Radford/Tony have signed.
Lineham - and another as above.

So which of the squad are not Radford's, as I'm struggling to see any evidence of players Radford is now lumbered with and doesn't seem to want in his team himself? Even those who have not yet played are either Radford/Tony signings or academy products.

I don't doubt that our coaching staff want to be successful just as much or more than any supporter but that's not enough. Radford , Last and Horne have no experience in coaching anywhere other than at FC. Radford and Horne have precious lttle experience anyway and how Last has managed to avoid any blame or criticism throughout his tenure of various coaching positions , and indeed get promoted ,during such a poor and unprofessional period , to me , beggars belief. What next Steve Crookes , Cookie , anyone with a HU post code? The Club Hull idea is a pipe dream. At this stage we need experienced proven coaching staff with reputations that are respected by players in both hemispheres and if we can't get that then we at least need people from outside of the club and area in order to make a psychological and philosophical change to the whole demeanour of the club. Becoming more and more insular is not the way. We currently have a coaching dynasty built on failure and we need some fresh ideas.

No attacking structure, to easy to read, as a result lowest points for in the league and sat bottom.
