| That second half needs looking at never seen a team that bad did they serve micky finns at half time,as the hole team went mentally asleep.
Didn't Pearson say that we would not see that again [against Leeds]

He says a lot of things.
I gave up buying into it a long time ago.

Exactly. A natural extension would be to give up posting about it (trolling) as well.

| I didn't buy my season pass because of Adams unconscious incompetence and arrogance. I also feel the only way we could get his attention is by not gifting a full seasons gate money by purchasing a season pass. It clearly worked for a while, but his last minute sell to Hull FC fans ensures he has control again for another 11 months or so. I feared that we would be where we are right now. So far I've been to every game to demonstrate support for the team I love in the hope that I would be force fed humble pie. The problem though is Lee Radford has had more time and money then any coach that I can ever remember, the outcome tonight, at Salford and his coaching record overall demonstrates that he is clearly not what we need.
Adam has a history of backing himself into a corner, his comments about supporting the club before we become a Bradford I feel are insightful and sinister. The longer Adam keeps Radford the greater the hole he builds for himself. I've thought about not going again as some I'm sure will now choose to do. However I just feel that that will simply make Adam more stubborn and I fear we will then begin to see statements along the lines that if the fans wont support the club then he cannot afford to.
I do feel we need to make a statement whilst continuing to support the club by turning up, possibly protesting or chanting isn't the way either. Perhaps a walk out on mass?
One thing is for sure, Adam has to do something or we as fans will have to.

| Last nights walk out was clear. But to walk out in the second half is possibly seen as an emotional reaction to a poor performance.
Its probably totally impossible to achieve. But if the whistle blew to start the game and then people walked out it would provide a clear message of no confidence that could not be seen as an emotional response. If that could be achieved it would get the national media and possibly provide a face saving excuse for Adam rather then it being seen as a response to fans whinging.

| Firstly, people who are already writing our season off and consigning us to scrapping it out with Batley to avoid relegation are overreacting. We are 4 games in, and as bad as we were last night there are clearly worse teams in this league than us. Wakefield shipped nearly 60 points at Widnes last week ffs.
That said, I just don't know what direction the club are going in. One of Leeds fans commented that Hull don't seem to have a plan. Every season we just sign a bunch of players and ship a load out for no apparent reason. I agree with that to an extent, but actually we do have a plan, we want the backbone of the team to be made up of local lads who are passionate about the club. The trouble is we just don't know how to go about it.
I'm not Pearsons biggest fan either, he has made more mistakes than I can list, and he still hides behind the Gentle/McRea excuses which people on here seem to lap up. One thing he has succeeded in however (how much is down to sheer luck I don't know) is that our junior teams are as strong as they have been for 10 years. The 19s may well win their comp this year and the 16s are strong too.
So my prime concern about the club right now isn't that we might get relegated (even if we are in the middle 8 there's still a big gulf to the championship) or that crowds will dwindle. It's that we could potentially have a golden generation coming through, and they are going to be thrown in at the deep end by an incompetent coach who will allow their talent to go to waste.
We need to stop looking for ridiculous excuses every week, admit that appointing Radford was a mistake and bring in someone who can give us a clear plan of where we want to go. The club Hull idea is fine, but we are building it on sand.

| The youngsters (Abdull and Tergut) came in last night and looked like headless chickens. Im not blaming them in anyway btw just that they didnt step up unlike the youngsters of Wigan, Saints, Leeds etc who step up and look like theve been in the sides for years so i wouldnt go putting all my eggs in one basket expecting the youngsters weve got to dominate RL for the next ten years as it wont happen

You obviously were not there when you were thumped by the Robins in our first year back in Super league or when you lost in the play offs. On both occasions it was embarrassing when your players walked round the ground clapping empty seats. On the second occasion a special farewell had been arranged as it was your last home match of the season irrespective of the outcome of the match. Both times your supporters did not even stay to see the last five minute mark.

| Despite last night's showing, I think Hull F.C is on the up.
That being said I wrote to Adam Pearson following our slaughter in the play-offs against Huddersfield in Sept, 2013. I've included an extract I wrote to him and still believe this is where Hull's real problem is:
"......one suggestion is to assess player performance in the context of how many 'good' games they have in a season. My view is that we are lacking players who can play consistently well week in, week out. We should be developing a squad where the stats prove that all players are putting in 'good' performances on a ratio of 1:3 rather than what I believe could be 1:6 or worse. On a 1:3 ratio that would mean any player would play 9 good games out of the whole Super League season: is that too much to ask of a professional? Apply that across a squad of 17 players and coaching team and this is where I think improvement must be made and where we reduce the number of overall losses, draws, and debacles such as last night."
How this inconsistency is 'coached out,' I don't know but too many players don't seem to know how to either play their way out of a corner or put their xollocxx on the line and fight their way out.

Did you get a reply?
I like the "back to basics" approach of your player analysis. Play better, and do it more often. Easy isn't it? Are you in consultancy?

Your club will never achieve anything if you are only expecting them to play one good match in three. Out of a squad of 17, on average, only just over 5 players would be having a good match. I doubt you would win many matches with this scenario.

Well you would know, having watched your lot fail to achieve in god knows how many years.
