In a choice between Hadley & Thompson as a back up 9 on match day (if just to stop shuffling everyone else around in an emergency or to give Houghton a breather) I'd pick Thompson everyday of the week, he looked a real find the first day I saw him, he has being given a utility back tag by the club in the squad details so I've no idea what Radford's intentions are for him but he seems to have a decent amount of pace and very good stamina. Kind of a Whiting MKII.

But we have to make up our minds who is doing what and not shuffle around 3 people to accommodate 1 player.

Everything the Salford and Saints fans said of him are true.No pace to make runs from acting half,slow at the play the ball and his passing is terrible.He is not really a 9 but a utilty player.
I just don't understand the signing.If Radford thinks we are short of numbers at 9 then why leave both Howarth and Cunningham out of the 19 when if Danny Houghton needs to be rested we will probably be using Hadley at 9 tomorrow and maybe when Rankin is fit he will take the bench position and fit in at 9 which means Neither Cunningham or God forbid Howarth are unlikely to feature in First team games.
