| On the original point, the downside of the proposal to have one friendly is only one game in five months. Compare to Wilf's stats about 41 games in a season in days gone by. I think the off season is too long and leads to people disengaging - you can be virtually half a year with no opportunity to see the first team. That's rubbish.

| Friendlies are a waste of time and I do not do them, the season could do with a warmer upper and help teams to progress.
Bring back the county cups, cede the SL clubs to come in after round one 16 teams in each county get a decent backer, maybe play both finals in one place on the road if possible. The teams have to compete from day one and they have meaning and an extra cup to win, one older then the Challenge cup as well. An FC V KR meeting with a cup of merit at stake as purpose and would ignite fans more then "training sessions with species"

IF Radford only wanted two games why not stay with the contractually obliged York game and tag on Ellis's testimonial with Wakefield. Not obliged to play either HKR or Doncaster then really ?

Precisely. But too advanced intellectually for bumpy and bono. Unless of course they're not really FC fans.

I think they were trying to get out of the York game. Obviously Ellis was awarded his testimonial in October after this interview in September.

Structured is a Rovers fan whose post profile evidences 62% negative comments about Hull FC on the Hull FC board. You'd think it'd be answering Rob Crossland's call for increased usage of Royston Vasey rather than posting repetitive sh1ite on here.

| I haven't been to a friendly for years (decades), with the exception of one or two testimonials - for fans they really are pointless.
If you really want pointless, try this for size.......
Quote: It is a sensible way of expanding the game, "Wigan owner Ian Lenagan, a former director and major shareholder of London Broncos, wants to switch one of his club's home fixtures to the capital and is confident of making the move this season.
"It is a sensible way of expanding the game," Lenagan said.'"
Imagine AP announcing this.

Of course - it's just that there are local "faithful" who agree hook line and sinker with him on a regular basis. Just a punt - obviously.

I see you did a bit of analysis on this loon too Mrs. B. I ran a similar exercise and came to exactly the same conclusion. He has earned the right to be called a professional troller.

Not only did the first 17 NOT get 2 full games games together, the majority won't have had many minutes playing time in over 3 weeks before the Hudds game(the last meaningful game time being the first half of the rovers match). So whatever this 2 game plan was the timing and putting (the majority of the first 17) up against a 3rd tier team was a mistake.
But that is far too intellectually advanced for you to understand, which by definition makes you a dobbins fan..
