Out of Romeo and juliets straight there for sausage, chips and gravy. Heaven. Still taste it now!

| Quote: Chris28 "Not sure where this "Hull left the pitch quickly" after the lap of honour comes from either. They were out for ages at yes end, posing for photos and speaking to fans in the West Stand. Did Leeds stay out for an hour and we have to be judged against that?
I am sure it doesn't matter to most FC fans, probably glad the season is over and can move on. McDermott is a bit of a numpty for even saying anything, just means everyone hopes Leeds get ripped a new one in the playoffs.

The fork did stand up in the gravy and not move.
After swilling down copious amounts of ale it was an oasis in the desert.

| We sit in the East Stand near halfway and I must say that the abuse, and it was abuse, dished out to Tom Briscoe by a group of fans somewhere behind us was an embarrassment. I fail to see what he did wrong, he was an excellent player for FC who saw out his contract and left to play for a club with more chance of winning trophies. The regular and prolonged chanting of "Judas" and "your a fat greedy b'$tard" is not banter it's abuse and as McDermot pointed out is a poor reflection on the club and its fans. I have no issue with the cheers and chants of FC reject when he messed up I would expect that for any ex player and would say that is banter but I simply don't get the other stuff.

| While I found the booing of Briscoe petty (can't blame him for leaving a Hull side that doesn't look to be winning anything anytime soon) any player who bombs a potentially match changing chance like that will get stick for it, and being an ex-player or a Rovers player only amplifies it.

| There was plenty of talk yesterday on Twitter about Peter Smith's match report in the Yorkshire Evning Post. He usually comes across OK and interacts with people on Twitter but seems to have been something of a sore loser with these comments
Quote: that "As at Wigan seven days earlier, Hardaker was booed throughout the game by some of the home fans.
Which – assuming it was in response to the investigation into comments he is alleged to have made to an opponent – is quite ironic, considering the abuse some Leeds players, Iestyn Harris in particular, have been subjected to on trips to Hull over the years.'"
Why he felt the need to drag up "that" song about Iestyn Harris after all these years is a mystery, not to mention the fact that Leeds supporrters were vitriolic towards Harris when he went to Bradford and you still hear foul language from the South Stand.
His full report is rlhererl.

| I've been to Leeds on a Friday night and heard their fans singing "You're going down with your trawlers".
McDermotts a fool and trying deflect criticism from his sides recent defeats including London.

| Think maybe McDermott wasn't at any of the games at Headingley when the Southstanders sang to the Hull fans 'You are going down like your trawlers' the only 'abuse' of Tom Briscoe was banter aimed at the Whino fans when they sang 'You can stick your Tommy Briscoe up your a**e' meaning we don't need him!
