Don't need to see the contract. It's pretty obvious what the club having an option for another year means.

My understanding of the one year option in the clubs favour is that the club don't have any obligation to give him a second year, but the player can't look elsewhere until the club say they don't want him. Gives us first refusal on him basically.

I may be wrong but that is what I have always thought it meant.

I'm sure you're right and I really don't see how anyone could think it means anything else.

I did post on here a few weeks ago that we'd signed someone who was similar to Brett Dallas who had connections to Brisbane but was left scratching my head as was told the certain player didn't exist . Was also told about another signing then so I'm keeping that to myself now . It's good to have all them fans in aus keeping us upto date with all these players we could be signing .

Probably enough in him experience and natural pace-wise to be good at this level. Success will depend partly on our pivots and structural support play. Both need to be a country mile better next year.
