That you see fit to get personal & belittling the fact that I gave my own personal version of why I thought DH could easily have played says a lot about you and your infantile 'pals'.
I'd like to think that you can't help yourselves, that your immature child like responses & comments are because you have some pre-disposed affliction but I guess the honest truth is you're just a bunch of idiots that are so narrow minded, nasty people and are just not capable of using reasoning in a discussion but revert to personal insults to attack people...

Well actually if you go back you will find that I did offer reasoning. I said that regardless of what DH is entitled to or whether or not he is needed at home I wouldn't really want someone playing if they were not properly focused.
Unfortunately you chose to ignore any reasoned comments made by anyone and continued peddling your ideas and accusing anyone who didn't agree (everyone) of somehow being closed minded, which is kind of ironic really.
And I'm hardly getting personal, it was a light hearted comment poking a bit of gentle fun in your direction. If I've offended you then I apologise.

Just catching up and reading this thread has reminded me why I don't visit here that often anymore.
As for Rankin, I think the club have made the right call in letting him return home for family reasons.
