| Brilliant interview, very honest and forthright about PG,Salford and Bradford...Salford have £600.000 tied up with Dobson and Chase add in Locke and they must be upto something.

Basically that AP made a mistake signing him & regrets not sacking him sooner. If you get chance there's a link to the video on page 2 of this thread.

As said above if you have a spare 20 mins watch it, very good honest and open interview.
Mentions that gentle was a good assistant, but not what it takes to be a head coach.

You wanted to hear what he says about Bomber, off tape.

| Quote: Wellsy13 "In regards to youth...
The Agar era saw next to zero youth come through. He debuted roughly 6 players, and Reece Lyne played the most (12 games in 2 years). In fact, I think he played more than the rest combined (I started a thread about this a few years ago).
Gentle had debuted more players in one season than Agar in 4.
Sharpe also debuted a lot of youth in his time. The 2006 GF runner up side featured 13 British players, 9 being Hull produced IIRC. That's where I'd like to see us. That's the only way we'll compete with the big boys. You can't buy a squad. You have to produce most of it due to the cap. Young players are cheaper.
Youth development takes 10 years to get right. There are hopefully a few coming through the system that have natural talent, but if we want developed talent in numbers, give it longer than 3 seasons!'"
I remember thinking in 2005 and 2006 that the club was heading in the right direction with it's solid core of local players and seemingly more on the way. It all went a bit wrong didn't it! As horrified as I've been at some of the losses this season at least I have the feeling again that we might be on the right track.

| Thought that was a really inspiring interview. Still not sure about Radford but for Adam' s sake I'll renew my pass next year regardless of how the rest of this season goes

| I've always said as long as the clubs putting the effort in I'll support them and you cannot accuse AP and LR of not. Good interview as always.

| He is pretty scathing about Peter Gentle and his ability as a head coach and using that as mitigation for this season and the mess that Radford is having to clean up. Well that "mess" was 2 x 6th place finishes and a CC final. Just saying.
Having said that AP as always comes across really well and generally isn't afraid to answer a question. Let's hope we are heading in the right direction this time after so many false dawns.

Yup, 5 more passes here for 2015.
No-one can deny Adam's desire for success. It will come.

| AP knew what he was talking about, and from what ive heard from him always knows what hes talking about.
thought it was a great interview, as said above, you can see his passion for the club, the desire and his aims.
long term plan yes, so maybe we should just stand up sing along and enjoy the ride under AP, LR and co, as I think if anyone is going to bring back the glory days, it will be pearson.

| Can't help but feel Pearson is trying to deflect some heat off Radford by saying these things. He's probably correct that Gentle was a better assistant than head coach. However, there was no mess to clean up. We had a few embarrassments during his reign, but on the whole I felt he did a good job and helped to lay the foundations for what will hopefully be a successful future. I don't really like Adam talking that way about what he achieved tbh.
In recent weeks there appears to be definite signs of improvement. So hopefully Radford is learning from the mistakes he has made and can go on to be a really good coach. However you can't argue that this year (so far) is better than what Gentle got out of an arguably weaker squad.
