i think we beat them 2005 and 2006, the latter the week after you beat us at the kc, 2005 we beat them 42-24 or somewhere around that score

| The '06 win was the 42-24 where blacklock went in off the scrum on half way in the last minute.
'07 was the last win week after the 42-6 at home to rovers

Both of those games were brilliant, particularly the first one. I remember Peter Sharp saying Blacklock looked like a 64 year old when he was running for the corner.
The second one I seem to remember Raynor scoring a miracle try whilst being rolled over the sideline, and Head kicking a late drop goal to seal it.

The 2006 game I'm pretty sure Motu Tony was fullback and had a stormer. So you're maybe thinking of the 2007 game.

We definitely won the year after. 7th September 2007. Week after Rovers hammered us at home.

I dragged my Leeds mate in the Hull end and he had to endure our celebrations. I remember a very skinny Craig Hall at centre with Skinny Byrne outside him. I also recall discussing what a natural football brain Matty Head possessed.
As if that was nearly seven years ago?
The 2009 defeat was shambolic with Thorman's missed tackling, 2010 was memorable for Briscoe's four try haul and still ending up on the losing side, while 2011 was memorable only for the end of Agar's era in the pouring rain.
My god when are we ever going to progress and compete with them on a regular basis at their place?!

Challenge Cup Winners 2016 (at Wembley) - HULL FC: |
|
| Gone are the days when we seemed able to pluck a team of locals to get stuck in and beat a star-studded Leeds side.
Many a time we were given no chance and came up with the goods.
Not likely this time though.

Think we managed to score 3 early try's in that game and still got our@rses handed to us.

| Leeds -16 for Friday.
Might have a little insurance bet to pay for the afternoon/evening out and to have summat to celebrate come 9.45pm.
