| My worry is that Bradford are given the six points back by the RFL, and suddenly we are thrown into a relegation battle with a string of tough away games to play.

| Judging by their performance today it looks like the London game is not a gimme most people think either.

| the best thing that happened to our club was pearson taking over, got rid of the last set of leeches who milked the fans for all our worth, i just hope we aren't going back down that route, i'll give pearson the benefit of the doubt as he as been badly advised in my opinion, too many false dawns and let downs
if he is going to persist with radford and last, back him with more coaching staff!
watching them young wigan kids rip us to shreds on friday night was soul destroying! the size of their centres and wingers compared to ours! how is it we only seem to devlop midgets compared to the likes of wigan, leeds or saints!

I hope your distrespectful comments about Pearson dont come back to bite us and we end up with no club because I would not blame him if he said enough is enough.Loyal fans dont think so'"
If someone goes every week home and away and buys two shirts every year, but questions the way the club is run, why does that make them disloyal? Surely they just care?
I am loyal to the club, and I want what is best for the club, I wouldn't stop going because we weren't playing well, I wouldn't even stop going if we fell through the divisions and got thumped 50-0 by Hemel. However, I know that most fans are not like me, many have stopped going already and if we don't address some key issues quickly we will get to the point where the damage will take years, maybe even a decade, to repair.
Are people too quick to jump on the backs of coaches? In some cases yes. In this instance Radford should have not gotten the job, getting rid of Gentle was knee jerk, but if we had replaced him some someone who had a proven track record, I would have been happy. Instead we give it to a guy who has spend a year coaching the academy team and a year as an assistant
But then I thought, okay, he might not have all the attributes or experience that we need. But we have good players, and he will at least get them playing with a bit of pride and maybe, just maybe, that will be enough for us to push on.
We started the season pretty well, a couple of defeats but we were giving a good account of ourselves. Then I watched the Widnes game and it was one of the most abject performances I have ever seen from us. But I thought, just a blip, in fact this might be a good thing, put a rocket up some guys who need it. And then came the Salford CC game, Rovers, Wakefield, each performance more pathetic than the last. Although I haven't seen last nights game it sounds like that was another.
The players have to take a portion of the blame, of course they do, but Radford was brought in to intimidate, to get some pride back in the badge and get the players putting in honest performances. At the moment it seems that a few guys are giving their all, but a lot of them don't seem to care too much what happens in recent weeks, and that's not good enough.
This is not the fault of Radford, this attitude has been around the club since Swain left. However Radford is not going to put it right. We need to rip out all the dead wood and bring in a coaching team that demands respect, and if they don't get it, they are not afraid to show people the door.
So it's got nothing to do with loyalty. It's about making a positive change that will protect the future of the club. My main concern at the minute is that we have a quality batch of youngsters coming through, and as a result this should be an exciting time. But if we don't get the right people in to nurture them we will just end up with another lost generation of Tommy Lee's.
Anyway that's my rant over. Please do something Adam.

| People like Pearson & Koukash bring their huge ego's into our game bringing zero knowledge but thinking they know better.
They genuinely believe that little old rugby league is such a tiny thing that they will be able to show us how it is.
Pearson actually believes that with zero knowledge of our sport he is better equipped than Rugby League people to make rugby decisions.
Koukash at least has genuine money so maybe if he stays with it it may happen sometime.
Edited to remove defamatory comments.

| As the owner & most important person at the club Adam needs to honestly
assess his own performance, as its been appalling this season.
`Change the club culture' - & employs Motu Tony. Radford & Last
players who were part of that culture!
Bargain basement signings for peanuts - Feka, Talanoa, Colbon
& probably Carvell & Tuson. pay peanuts - - - -
Radford seems to think he's here for the long haul. If he he's been given assurances
he'll have a contract irrespective of results, we're right back to the Hetherington/Agar days.
The structure of the club is such that we can't afford/survive) relegation'
Those on here who believe we can't go down are living in cuckoo land.
C'mon Adam you're the No1 - the silence is deafening - what's your answer to this mess?

I've seen you comment on several threads now about how crap and fickle the fans are. How about you give it a rest. Attendances are dwindling and calling them fickle etc isn't going to get them back. I heard one moron saying good riddance we don't need fans like them! Complete stupidity. The club only exists because it has fans and supporters and if they want to have an opinion about any aspect of the club they have every right to it. Using the tired old cliché of questioning there loyalty adds nothing to the discussion and just makes you look like some sort of arrogant wannabe super fan.

| The thing that Friday's defeat and the current supremacy of Leeds have brought home is how far off all clubs are from these two in terms of quality and depth across their organisations. Even a club like Warrington with their own, purpose-built stadium, coach most on here would jump at, and way more resources than us via Moran look like amateurs relatively speaking.
Five years ago, gaps in first team quality could be plugged far more easily with players from Australia so homegrown reliance was less important, but the days of SL attracting the likes of Trent Barrett, Richard Swain, Stephen Kearney are gone. Competition now is therefore more than ever about financial depth and infrastructure investment to deliver internal talent pipelines. It's not surprising therefore that regardless of the RFL trying to create a level playing field with the salary cap, success will be directly proportionate to off-pitch investment (financial and knowledge).
The Challenge Cup assumes massive importance currently IMO as our one chance of success, which makes it all the more galling to have lost as we did. However it does accurately reflect the continued and glaring recruitment inadequacies at half back the club have, with no one with the experience or capability to manage a high stakes game.
I don't know enough about what goes on behind the scenes to know whether Radford has the potential to be a good SL coach and is hamstrung by an imbalanced squad or not. But when you compare how much back room support the likes of Wane and McDermott have, with tens of assistants, he's at a massive disadvantage and that issue won't be resolved. The question then is how well we should be doing against the rest and the answer there is clearly better than we are. Cas and Widnes are the surprise packages this year, one bringing in a clever, experienced coach, the other persisting with one some would have bracketed with Radford. As a consequence of reducing attendances and therefore available cash, I expect we'll stick with Radford and hope for a Betts style improvement.

| Whilst I agree with most of what you've said Mrs B, I think the thing with Warrington was until this season they were up there competing at the top level on all fronts but the inevitable happened as everyone knew they were an ageing squad and now this season find themselves in a period of transistion, they have a raft of newer players and injuries to key personnel to contend with but due to the quality of their coach and infrastructure I think they will recover soon.
As with Betts a highly regarded player who's been there done it on both sides of the world he was unlucky in his first stint of coaching to be replaced at Wigan. He then crafted a good championship side which has taken a season to turn into a decent SL team.
Neither can be compared to Hull as in both cases the backroom set up appears far better then ours and both coaches I rate better then Radford.
I wanted Lee to succeed but even with failure to bolster the back room staff I dont think currently he's up to the task. If Pearson had gone with a better coach from the off I believe with the current playing roster we have we'd be 3 to 4 wins better off.

Some good points. I agree that Warrington have been a force in both comps, but IMO part of the reason for that was what I've also said is a reason we're not capable of challenging, ie a game-managing, experienced half back. Betts is an interesting one - my point really was he looks like he's coming good after a long (relative to Radford) period of learning and has grown with the club rather than being dropped in without experience at a club with stated ambitions of top 6. The better option could have been another Gentle style Aussie assistant, but it's difficult to get the best ones here, even amongst assistants. Maguire apart, it seems like the top quality ones view an NRL assistant role as a better career move than uprooting the family to come here to clubs with much lower levels of resource and unrealistic expectations.
