How do you know the size of the contracts though? That's what I don't understand. As far as I am aware that is not public knowledge.

Cos I've a good network of friends for finding stuff out who happen to know people in and around the club including coaches former coaches players journalists etc. Also personal friends with a fair few players at our club and at other clubs (via agents and sharing of agents, players from other clubs often know plenty about other teams players!)
A lot I take with a pinch of salt and try account for Chinese whispers, but obviously depending on the source some are more believable than others. a lot of people know we've thrown silly money about and coach needs to free money to do what he'd like/needs to do to make the team he wants

Does anyone seriously believe that Rankin, who was signed under the current regime, will be on less than Miller?

Just because we've got rid of McRae doesn't mean stupid decisions haven't been made. Two of our best players this year were signed by the previous regime.

i know and speak to a players agent every week and am i would say on friendly term, there is no way on earth he would tell me any facts about players wages etc, yes i get told snippets about news like arundel playing on the wing tues, imo it wouldnt be common knowledge about wages etc, but hey ho thats just my opinion

Nobody knows how much any players on, but you can get a fair idea on a few. It's not difficult to imagine the likes of McDonnell, Miller & Rankin being on 6-figure salaries, same with Ellis & Paea. Generally, British players are a lot harder to judge, and I doubt the likes of Pitts and Arundel are on vast amounts but either of them being on £50k+ does not represent value for money IMO.

Miller and mcdonnell on £120k+ each. I was told rankin is on around £80k, pitts £70k and arundell on some stupid contract that goes up every year of his contract and leaves him on over £100k

If that's the case, Rankin needs a new agent.

The biggest disappointment is Arundel,who since his arrival has never been able to tackle.
I also think McDonnell was a stand out performer last season.It was obvious that Radford wanted Shaul as the number one even though he is far from the finished article.I don't know what is happening within the club regarding McDonnell but I think he has been unlucky if he is being forced out of the club.

.... well, I don't remember McDonnell being a stand out player last season - good at times, but I would pick Shaul every time, despite his lack of experience.

If he's as good as people say he is, then he'll have no problem getting another contract.

If his injury was as bad as some believe, then that's another story.

McDonnell was fantastic for us last season.

McDonnell is already there for me. Sadly, his injury appears to have given Hull FC an opportunity, if I'm reading this right, which is very disappointing.
