Therefore we're simply looking for a back up to lineham and binman (if we get him signed up) crookes for me wasn't remotely as bad as made out last year and when fit (which is a problem granted) is as good a squad winger as you'll get! But we need decent cover as lineham isn't exactly durable!'"
You would hope with Lineham that he has just been unlucky and will get an injury free run at some point. I would be more concerned if he was regularly doing his hamstring, or his knees were shot, but all his injuries have been picked up in isolated incidents, rather than the same things flaring up time and again.

Tickle is no loss, but I can't agree with Briscoe. Yes we didn't use him to his full ability, but he was a brilliant player for us and if he changed his mind and wanted to come back I would have him in a heart beat.

| According to Blunderside this morning, Worcester RU were supposed to be holding a press conference later today. Howevever nothing has been reported yet and there is nothing on their club website.
On the other hand neither Hull nor Biggs have denied the rumours.
I'm sure at the last fans forum AP said Biggs would be here in 3-4 weeks. Obviously we are well past that now, but it would be interesting to know what has changed since then.

If FC denied/confirmed all the rumours surrounding them they'd never have time to get anything done .

Agree on Tickle. His immense goalkicking aside I don't think he was bringing too much to the team by the time he left. I feel we definitely got his best years prior to that. Briscoe has the x-factor and I think most teams would welcome him. I wouldn't have complained if he'd stayed knowing what he's capable of. I think we're doing well without him though.

| Would this be "played 18 won 1" Worcester, who look all but relegated and face Exeter (9th), Bath (4th), Saracens (Top) and Gloucester (8th) in their last games of the season?
A move from Bath would make perfect sense......NOT.

| Union contracts end at the end of June and League at the end of October, as far as salary caps are concerned.
So Biggs needed to switch codes mid season to make it financially viable for himself.
The reason that Bath refused to release him in good time is pure conjecture, but I'd be surprised if both Hull and Biggs didn't have a get out clause if it dragged on too long.

| Pearson has confirmed in the HDM that the Biggs deal is off and that the club are close to announcing a new signing, believed to be another outside back.
