| I'd expect Crookes to go, as his replacement its a good move.
Think it will more likely happen at the end of this season though.

Even as a squad player.
Don't see the problem if he improves the squad (by replacing Crookes)
All teams have a few average squad players, Leeds have won SL a few times with average players like Ian Kirke getting game time.

TBH we'll probably win bu66er all whether he comes in or doesn't.

| So the story is he's upset at losing his starting place to Travis Burns? Understandable, but if he doesn't want to be a wing / centre squad player for Rovers why would he move to Hull to be a wing / centre squad player?

It's a good question. But if he did leave rovers, the number of clubs that are both stable and where he'd have a decent chance of being a starter, isn't big. Widnes maybe, but that is a long trek along the M62.

I Agree just look at yesterday and last week, Green, Watts, Carvell, Tuson, Mcdonnell, Arguably first choice players yet the lads who came in put in a top performance against last years Grand finalist and this years highly fancied. Imo we would caved and picked up two heavy beatings if we'd of gone into those games with 5 first choice players out.
I think Craig Halls a good squad player and would add to our squad. However I believe talk of a switch back is a little wide of the mark but stranger things have happened.

Thought City got it right after they binned AP off.

Without Pearson Hull City would still be languishing down in League Two in my opinion. Any success they are now enjoying wouldn't have been possible if he hadn't have helped guide them up to the Championship.

Who was it that got City moving in the right direction as their owner before he sold them?. If it had not been for AP City would not be the position they are in now.

| I laugh at people slagging CH off, just about the most naturally gifted player we had in attack during agar's tenure, excellent scoring record with us(47 tries in 76 games) and can kick goals. Yeah his defence is a bit flaky but then so is the golden boy Crooks(who has had some woeful games in that respect both last year and this) and is prone to brain farts (who isn't let's be honest)
Add in the fact he has only just turned 26 and can cover a number of positions and probably isn't going to cost very much at all IF we have to sign him for some strange reason he wouldn't be the worst option.
That said it looks like we are well and truly messing things about with lower quality players in the ranks in areas we don't really need them.
For me we should have made a decision regarding the wingers long before because signing Hall gives us effectively 6 wingers!

This. If we were in a situation whereby we played both Hall and Crooks we would have two of the most naturally gifted attacking centres in the league. Also two of the poorest defenders. Hall was very very good with ball in hand in a small amount of space. I would much Rather have Hall than Crookes.

Challenge Cup Winners 2016 (at Wembley) - HULL FC: |
|
| The sort of player that when he plays against us i tend to notice the good things he does in attack. Certainly did at KC last season.
But when he played for us i also noticed the errors he made in defence.
Could still make a decent stand off for us though?
