Players get a 10 year career at top level so that equates to 2 or possibly 3 world cups in total.

I'm not defending Hock at all...he is as thick as the proverbial and I thought he was 10 mins late? But why wasn't they all booted out for abusing curfew??? Or should mcbanna have fined them all the money for being in the squad,which,IMO,they shouldn't be paid and played them as let's face it,Hock and Graham vastly improve the team.

Dont know the finer points but it looks like they have all been punished but Hock the most severe because he not only broke the curfew but didnt bother turning up for training the week before we play the Aussies.

Harsh to criticise Macca when he has clearly been badly let down by some players - a couple of which are old enough to know better.

I don't know about that tbh. There's stories of a lot of players breaking the rules of some of the most respected coaches of all time.

It's a lapse in judgement and maybe a feeling they could get away with it.
