Depends some are saying he walked others that he was pushed, if he walked it cost us nothing if we sacked him yes it will have cost a fair bit.
The main thing is though our new coaching staff are hardly likely to be able to demand the sort of money Gentle could.. |

Gentle wont have walked, we'd have had to pay him off. Do you think Howes won't have got him a clause in his deal?
If AP wanted to keep it cheap then why appoint a DoF/R? |

But once he'd made the decision to remove Gentle, I don't suppose his replacement could have come much cheaper. The constant emphasis in the press release on 'Hull-born' and 'local' was hugely irritating. I'd have much preferred the buzz-words to have been 'successful' and 'experienced'. |

Gentle had 2 years left on his contract and has a family to support. Why should he walk away for free? Would you? |

I don't think we should necessarily assume Radford will be paid much less than Gentle. |
