So you want to keep Shannon as back up to Shaul? That's even more of a waste of salary cap. Shannon simply isn't good enough to be taking up the size chunk of salary cap that he undoubtedly is. Its a waste especially with someone as talented as Shaul on the books. |

McDonnell has another year on his contract so will be here next year. Shaul can fight for the spot and also play on the wing. Provided Shaul continues to improve then we won't offer Shannon a new deal i'd imagine. |

It's not Shannon's biggest strength either but for all the Shaul has done I still think he has to improve his game so would be in no rush to pay Shannon off. That would be silly. |
