Need to go into every game like your job depended on it, irrespective of who or where you are playing.

Personally I think the tougher the games the better type of preparation for the final.

Could I perhaps explain what I have known to be a darby for most of my last 80+years. It's a plastering tool we used to use in the old days, from way back, when lath and plaster wall's and ceilings HAD to have the backing coat finished straight. Like a wooden float, but 4feet long, 4-5 inches wide,and 3/4 inch thick, with a handle near each end. I served a 6 year indentured apprenticeship in the 40's and 50's, and used one many a time until quite recently,although the one I have now is made of alloy. Most of these self styled "craftsmen" nowadays wouldnt know how to use one.

Who would you drop for him? I wouldn't rush him back as there's no need to. Shaul had a good game at fullback, DJ and Miller are working well together in the halves and look set to be our first choice half back pairing next season. He'll get his chance when injuries occur.

Difficult one as shaul had yet to be tested in defence especially in a big game, if ge has a nightmare against rovers, would he still play him in the final?

If this happens who plays FB? Horne who wont be match fit.

If he us fit id be tempted to have him on the bench, not sure instead of though.

Yeah if Richard Horne is fit I'd bring him off the bench just for some game-time. He could be needed at Wembley.

Expect us to be going all out to win this, especially after this mornings tabloid story. Think Gentle will go with the same 19 man squad we had for Widnes (unless we picked up any minor injuries). Win or lose I would then expect to see 4-5 players rested for the Salford game.

Totally agree with this. Same team as last week then expect 5 or 6 rested against Salford and we can still get the job done. We have the likes of Bowden, Green, Crookes, Johnson, Hadley,Horne and James Cunnigham(if both fit)

I cannot believe people stating they are not bothered about losing, when it could mean not making the playoffs. This is one of the most vital Derby's we have played IMO

I dont think its so much about not caring about winning/losing its more about getting through it unscathed.A lot of people are concerned about our key players getting targeted.Dont want a repeat of 2008 going into a CC final with no halfbacks

I think we are all worried about that and we do seem to pick up bad injuries in derbies. However we have to go all out for the win because we need the league points and we need to be in good form going into the cup final.

Apart from Hornes unusual foot injury from the Magic game, I don't think we have come off that badly injury wise in derbies recently.

The Derby is extremely important to me and I desperately want us to win this game.
