We are a poor team going forward.
Our defence has levelled that out to some extent but we really are a poor SL team with ball in hand.
Would be great to see Gaz Ellis posing a threat going forward instead of frantically running round like a madman defending our line.

Ellis's defence is fantastic but in attack he has been quiet. Although, the line he ran for the try (one where he 'offloaded') was a good line that Miller put him through

We look like a group of individuals, there is no team unity, nobody looks motivated.
When McDonnell was 'speared', nobody ran in & confronted Poore & Aiton.Players stood around with hands on hips, speaks volumes for mine.

Gentle maybe, is a good technical coach, but as a Manager for mine, the jury is still out - its his job to shape/mould a group of players into a team.

Looking at the bigger picture, he should the season out, bigger question is,

What will be the reaction of Adam Pearson,IF this season dies a slow death & we limp out of the play-offs & Challenge Cup?

Aiton totally out enthused us.
A little who was putting himself about but oh to have someone doing the same for ourselves.

We maybe do lack some size, but the frustrating thing is knowing we can perform with the team we have. There wasn't complaints regarding our pack when we went on a 9/10 winning run. Our attitude stinks at the moment, which is what we need to sort out.

A stinking attitude - if that's what the problem is - is far worse than a lack of ability if you ask me.

The fans have every right to expect a victory at home to Wakefield and yet again as bad as we were, with a bit more brains we would have won. Hudds on the other hand will muller us based on recent performances.

It has to be what the problem is, because the team have shown they have the ability. It needs sorting.

In the end there is absolutely no excuse for that performance considering you had a fully fit squad, according to Gentle over the weekend. Unless of course there's some unrest at board level (that's what people would say if we'd lost that game anyway )

I don't know about ego's but certainly a team with no brains. If Horne or Whiting had been there last night it may have seen us paper over the cracks. Ball players who see things - we just don't have them I'm afraid.

We've got away with our deficiencies in try scoring by having a superb defence to counteract that issue. Now we are missing tackles, dropping easy balls, going high - we don't have the firepower to cover that.

If Chase had been in our side we would have beaten Cas, if Tim Smith had been on our side last night ditto, we beat Wakefield. Ball players who see things.

The prop forwards are shafted. No go forward, no quick play the balls and no offloads. Need more then Peae for me
