tbh though. I disagree with everything you said about McDonnell as he's been one of our best players this season and is a decent full back that we've been needing for a while. He offers attacking options and is fairly good at the back also.

I agree shaul is the next best thing to come up from the academy but i think you maybe praising him a little to much because He's Only Played 2 Games.One against Wakey, other against championship 1 side. Yes sign him up to a big contract but for the first season loan him out. Then come back fitter, greater knowledge of his role and when McDonnell's contract runs out, prove his case.

McDonnell will be gutted this morning after that error but he is a million miles away from our worst performer. Seems to regularly receive hospital passes these days or watch the ball fly 5 yards behind him.
