| Hull FC were well below their best at Widnes but the opposition played well.
Last year at Widnes was remarkably similar but was a catalyst for Hull to go on a run and produce IMO their best form of the season.
IMO there is not a single team who are easybeats this year with the possible exception of Salford and that won''t last either.
Hull will improve but it would be beneficial to stop talking about top 4, Wembley, matching the big boys and just focus on the next game be it Wigan or Salford.
You can't talk your way to the top. You just can't.

Seems like a win win for Neil Hudgell then.
If he's not too bothered it's Rovers 8th & Hull 12th.
And if he is ....it's still Rovers 8th & Hull 12th.

| Tom Lineham, and that was about it.
Hopefully PG will be true to his word and drop the under achievers, which could/should be any one from 2-4 and 6 to 33.
To my mind this season so far, in terms of consistency, the positives have been Shannon Mac, Tom Lineham, Paul Johnson, Chris Green, Jason Crookes and Ben Crooks. Some of whom haven't had enough game time. As for the rest, well one good game in 5 is not taking us on to the next level, although that may be hard on Jay Pitts, Ben Galea and Rich Whiting, who have been steady, at best.

Ahem, this was supposed to be a positive thread Mrs.B.

| The most positive thing for Hull fans after seeing that game v Widnes is that Gentle can't have too long left in charge.
HullFC had a lot of talent out there and ended up well beaten.
Their mistakes were awful and self defeating.
Just begs the question - Are they players playing for the coach?
