Gutted is Tom goes. Another step back for the squad, once again we can't keep our best players. We'll never win silverware all the time this happens.
Good luck to him, not happy about it though and in all honesty I think it's too soon for him.

Best for me. Raynor edges it second with Briscoe third.
Briscoe is quality and will be missed but I agree throwing fortune at him would of been a mistake given our short coming in other areas.

AP made Briscoe a "huge" offer, Briscoe has decided (apparently) to go and live in Australia for 2 (maybe more) years, he'll be 23 when he gets on the plane, I don't know many people who wouldn't want to take that opportunity and see how it goes.

Whenever we have a star player we lose them to someone, right back to Schofield and Crooks.
We lost Manu last year.
Not saying the club could have done anymore, however the fact is we have lost a top player. We can't afford to. We'll never win anything if we do.
How many top players to Leeds lose? |

Got to give him credit for at least giving it a go, he could saty here and flat track his way through his career like the Worlds Best Winger !!
Mind you, Briscoe might as well go now as hes got a season on fans on his back for every mistake and tackle he misses to look forward to

Its not just Hull FC who have or will lose their top stars. Tom is not the first and will not be the last to leave our game due to the big money offered by Union and the NRL. |
