This is dragging on more then expected and gets more complicated by the day. The longer it drags on the more convinced I am that they are waiting for an NRL club to come in with a two year deal. I just find it hard to believe, that with the current lack of quality halfs in the world and the amount of clubs who would benefit from somebody like Scott Prince that we are the only club to offer him a deal.

Unless we were the only club to offer him a 3 year deal.

It all seems far fetched to me.

If his signing takes us over the salary cap, would we need to first offload someone before we can officially sign Prince?

Off the top off my head we have Horne, O'Meley, Galea off contract. If we are planning to promote Shaul, Green and Kent to their squad standing we'd have enough spare cap to up Princes wage from year 1 120K year 2 200k and year 3 220k.
