| Didn't see him today, but in previous games I thought his options still need working on - running into others space, passing etc. This will only come with good coaching and game time at full back. Looks like he's improving week on week.

| From Sky Sports
Gentle said Tom Lineham is playing out of position and learning the role on the run, with injuries dictating his selection at full-back.
"He's improving every week which is encouraging," said Gentle, adding the player has a lot to learn but is going well and will be much better next season with a full pre-season behind him.
"It's going to be terrific for next season."
think the person who typed that up must of been on the beer lol

| Briscoe is a real danger through the middle and seeing more of the ball is a big plus. However I don't see him as a fullback, not yet. He makes mistakes when passing in the line and doesn't always time his runs right. Certainly has potential but not where I'd play him. An good backup option though.

Good point
But as I've said numerous amount of times, Yeamo's biggest asset is his strong defence. Bang him on the right for us to counter other teams left. Which is were I'd say every team in the league including us has their best attacking side on the left. Yeamo's defence against others attack and allow us to play our better attacking centre (Crooks) on the left.

| Lets remember here, Briscoe is no full back and has stepped up to the plate and my god just imagine how good he could be if he was coached in that position, I reckon he would give Tomkins and Wellens a run for there money. Catlans couldnt handle him today, he was outstanding. Everyday will be a learning day for him. As for Horne I still think he has a role to play as his best games was at fullback also scoring twice in one game. With both of them in the team that gives us massve cover with quality players in more positions. As for Lineham, he attacks the line, is strong in the tackle and has pace, another one who will be a quality player next year

| tom was the most effective attacking player on the pitch tonight, parts of his game still need some work, but hes a fantastic pro and will work tirelessly to better himself.
he is quite clearly revelling in the opportunity to be more hands on within our game plan. the promise of a permanent place a full back might be enough for him to put the nrl dream well and truly on the back burner

| Horne misses more games than he plays, squad player at best from next season for me if he's still playing for Hull.
Briscoe back on the wing for next season for me along with Lineham on the other. Meaning hopefully a fullback will be brought in.

| I dont realistically see us signing a better full back. He has got to learn the position but he was our biggest attacking threat against Wigan and he terrorised Catalans. Gentle has to put plenty of work into him in the off season but potentially he could be second only to Tomkins in superleague.
A backline of Briscoe, Crookes, Yeaman, Crooks and Lineham looks very exciting to me.

Depends how he goes in the off season, Crooks has money in the bank, Arundel has been injured all year, and Gentle won't pick on reputation.

Yeah he should have taken Greenshields on, he would have skinned him IMO. I suppose he tried to make sure with the pass but it was the wrong one, however as you say Turner should have scored his return ball wasn't needed.

I don't think it was the wrong pass. He had Whiting on his inside, who was being chased (and we all know he's not the fastest!). But Turner?! What an absolute idiot for passing back instead of scoring an easy try. Cost us 4-6 points with that brainfart.

Ben Crooks needs to work on his defence though, was brushed off easily one on one on by Duport yesterday. Good thing is Gentle seems to pick on merit, he dropped Turner last week when he finally had the chance.
When Briscoe was named at fullback I thought he could go well there but as we have seen he needs to work on his hands, seems like Gentle wants to give him that chance. With Crookes already being signed a backline of:
Briscoe, Crooks, Yeaman, Arundall, Lineham, Holdsworth, Chase. Wouldn't be too shabby, just have to hope the lawyers come through.

As you say the pass option was fine it was enirely Turners fault we didn't score there. He had pretty much a clear run to the line and also had Lynham on his shoulder. Just another in a growing list of basic errors he's been making this year.
