I never managed to get there unfortunately so I've watched it all on the telly. My step lad is in the services and has been based in Weymouth on security duties and he's just had a weekend off and the photos on his phone are amazing. He was with the sailors and Yachtsmen (and women) and he has searched Ben Ainsley four times! |

Jamaica 1,2,3.
The games have been amazing, really like the open water swim today and the triathlon was amazing to watch. (Brownlee would have only been 1.20min behind Mo and wouldn't have come last in the 10,000m).
Im a cyclist and loved watching Wiggins reinforce his immortality but have watched everything pretty much.
Ainslies anger and then pure class made even the sailing an amazing spectcle.
Watching our windsurfer put his silver medal around his 4 yr old sons neck after promising him he'd win him a medal brought a tear to my eye.
With it being this amazing, I'm surprised 8 competitors have decided to go "missing"!

Apart from the sat night when the 3 athletics golds went in AFTER we had won 3 in the morning (but seems to be have been forgotten) its pretty much been buisness as normal with the athletics.I do admit to preferring the Rowing and the cycling and strangely enjoyed the dressage..such skill and precsicion |
